Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

The telegraph is reporting that we might need to move on some players.
Perfect out for us and can boot Farah and Marshall.

Makes you wonder, when all that crap with Farah, and Taylor was going on, and Farah’s manager was sitting in the background saying that he had info on the tigers that could be very bad for them…... seems like that grub let it all happen to have one over the club and now it’s come out...

And what does Ayoub gain by doing that?

People are just posting up rubbish based on old wounds.

The facts of the case don't lead to Farah or Ayoub. Pretty simple

Sorry to say it but we cheated.

IF our club has cheated, fair enough we need to cop our punishment. But, a big but, is why the double standards by the NRL? Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Greg Inglis all cheated by signing multiple contracts that were unquestionably designed to rort the salary cap- those 3 players would certainly have known that (as would their respective managers) yet were any of them deregistered or sacked by the NRL? Smith gets SOO and Australian captaincy, a gift testimonial game that would of earned him huge $$$$$ and is talked up as being a future Immortal of the NRL. Where is the justice in that? Ditto for the 2 other germs, both played Origin and Test footy AFTER their blatent cheating, earning mega $$$$ as a result of being allowed to play rep footy.
The inequality of punishments handed out for cheating are extraordinary and disgusting.

Bingo!!

If Farah acted like an adult and took his removal like a man we wouldn't be in this mess.
He dug in his heels and this deal was probably an act of desperation by Pascoe to just get Farah out.
I've never seen a player so sensitive and demanding. It's embarrassing how that transpired.
Even Sterlo said on one of his shows that it's hard to watch a grown man act this way when a club wants to move you on.
He never grew up, it explains why he isn't married or has a family by now.

If we have to move players on, he would be first out the door.

Why don't the NRL just sack all of the unfavoured clubs and have their darlings Easts playing Brisbane every Friday night and Penrith playing the Storm on Sunday? Rugby League is a joke and is nothing like the game I grew up with and played until I was the 'old' man in the local side.

Could be a bold move to relocate both Tigers and Sharks.
Sharks are in a worse situation. They are drowning in debt..
I wouldn't be surprised if (((Greensberg))) has this planned. Squeeze these clubs until they have no choice.
(((They))) are always willing to ruin things for the almighty dollar.

It was already mentioned that the release contract of Farah from the tigers hinged on the inclusion of the ambassador agreement.
Sam Ayoub would not sign off on the release until this was in their hands.

I have no doubt this was something he wanted up his sleeve.

Whose to say when Farah returned last year he didn’t march straight to the club and demand the inclusion of the ambassador agreement.

Are you forgetting that player managers get a cut of any deal???

If it wasn’t signed or agreed upon then why the hell did it get handed over to Ayoub?

Not a good idea to turn on your own when you are being attacked. All anger should be directed at the inequities that the heads of the game consistently deal out in what is meant to be a fair competition.

All prepared for paying a penalty for breaking a rule, but the severity and the circumstances surrounding seem totally unjust.

If they don't go to court and just suck the pus like the losers the league think they are I suspect it'll be a young bloke to get the chop.

We can’t boot anyone out. They must want out and another club must be willing to take them.
What it means is one of our top players would need to move on with us paying a large part of their contract.

Most clubs won’t touch players we want to get rid of.

Third time Ive posted it, the ARLC has requested much tougher penalties for cap breaches

Maybe these things should be examined in the courts ,what you have outlined above is just a small example of what has been happening over the years . It seems the NRL. Just pull figures out of there hat and enforce hard justice to a few only , I also would be scrutinising player managers and there dealings with the NRL .

So Manly and Cronulla will be deregistered and kicked out of the competition, this would be the case with the ridiculous out come the Tigers have laid on them ….they have actually cheated for an advantage over there rivals . The NRL have really put themselves between a rock and a hard place with the Tigers punishment and if the punishment is not doubled for these clubs I defiantly see this in the courts.

Not many listening, Ink.

A question. If we gel slugged the nearly 700k off our cap what happens if no player leaves and we can't recruit the extra two players? Do we get fined again? Surely not if its the Nrl's doing in the first place.

Sharks have no issue money wise as of today. https://twitter.com/ReadingThePlay/status/1075596492889411584?s=19

SMH reported that we have $700K cap space left for the 2019 season.
So we shouldn’t have to let players go.
The NRL has a habit of reducing fines and cap penalties on appeal.
Do we might be able to fill those other 2spots.
