More so how does he mount a defence, how does he communicate with his board and work his and the clubs next step if he is not allowed to do his job.
Next minute theyll turn around and hit him with the Flanagan charge for acting like a CEO when he's not supposed to be a CEO

Noble but probably coordinated and carefully thought through by Tigers

And on what basis can YOU unequivocally state that this decision by the NRL won't be overturned.
"The club does not know if he is going to take it up and Robbie has not indicated his intention in return".
So unless you take that statement from the club at face value you're obviously implying the club has lied to the NRL and also to its sponsors and members.
You will accept we cheated if the punishment does not get over overturned?
Mate, if we cheated we deserve to be punished. The anger and emotion is all about bias. Only an idiot could not see that cap and third party rorting is rampant across the NRL, especially by the currently successful clubs. Why is serious, consistent and detailed investigation of these clubs not apparent. Why?
I’ve followed this game for 50 years and I want the management of the game to be free of bias and supportive of all teams - not just the chosen few!!
I agree with a lot of that Steve but there seems to be a lot on here that think we're innocent or have just made a mistake.
Or they want to blame Ayoub, Farah, Gould, Cleary or Taylor.
But the bottom line is and my original point is we cheated, no one else.

You certainly seem to be going hard against us. You keep saying we cheated but there's zero evidence we've cheated at this point. The NRL says we've breached the cap but it's a stretch to say we've cheated unless you are in possession of facts the rest of us are not. Cheating is a deliberate and purposeful act - where's your evidence we committed a deliberate and purposeful act? I think it's 100% correct that we've breached cap rules but the question is how did the breach arise. Was it a reporting oversight, a failure to understand the rules or deliberate flouting of the rules (e.g Storm, Parramatta, Canterbury)? The point most on the forum are trying to make is that the punishment has to fit the crime.

Where's my facts? That's such a stupid question .
The NRL has the facts and handed down a punishment. Where's your facts to disprove their findings?
If this was any other team you'd be calling them cheats.

@ said:Was it? I didn't see that reported anywhere. I know the NRL said it was difficult to locate but that's a bit different to being hidden offsite.

Seen it reported in a couple of articles. Hiding a contract offsite sounds like cheating to me. But im stupid aren't I.
