We breached the cap with an undisclosed payment of 639k, that is pretty big.

@hammertime said:I assume there were only two parties to them. Pascoe and…ayoub.

@formerguest said:If we hid a contract/s that allowed us better player/s to gain an advantage, sure fine, but all WT possibly did, if at all, was offer to pay extra to benefit another club. I wouldn’t care if any club did something similar, as it would not give them an advantage over others.

WE did not adhere to nrl rules so … cop the punishment.
That’s life.
@TigerTiger said:It’s all crazy. Robbie was on $950k a year for two years, so we paid him $750k a year for those 2 years, plus another $639k to make up for apparent TPA payments? How much was Robbie on? $1.2m??
The annoying thing is next time another club gets into trouble, ANY other club, you can bet that they won’t get penalties and fines and de-registrations as harsh as we have. Twice now Sharks have had penalties back-dated… and before anyone says ‘Oh Pascoe’s penalty was backdated’, uh no it wasn’t, he has been de-registered since December, they only announced this week his six months starts then, until this week it was unending.
