those run meters from our forwards are woeful
None have shown they are ready for NRL, yet as soon as we have one forward injured one of them will need to be called on.
Johanssen is the pick of the bunch and has some upside, but his lack of size is a concern for his style of play at NRL level.
Stats particularly with missed tackles can be very deceiving as our edge defence in particular has been very concerning in NSW Cup and Flegg.
Quite a few tries conceded from our edge defenders not even making an effort to put their bodies in front of the opposing attacking player which is a major concern for players who are supposedly very close to playing in our NRL team.
On the bright side, as bad as they are, they are still better value than Bateman.

For the 2nd straight week we are having Latu Fainu sit out while being 18th man for our NRL team ?
Not sure how that’s helping his development, surely he could play NSW Cup and then still be 18th man for NRL ?
We need to see much better from Reuben Porter today. If he’s not going to be standing out playing NSW Cuo and putting his hand up for NRL selection, at age 28/29 we might as well cut him loose and focus on younger players who have plenty of potential improvement in them.

Unless he plays NRL it’s dumb. I get the whole 18th man stuff and he offers flexibility but it’s costing Latu a heap of game time which he needs at his age.

Yeah that is awful development unless one of our backs is heavily in doubt close to kick off. IMO 18th man should be shared around each week but Latu seems to constantly be in that position

Its crazy with Latu - the argument on here was do you play him as a 14 in NRL where he doesn't get any time at 7 or do you play him in NSW Cup where he gets valuable game time at 7 against hardened players. Appears the club has chosen neither instead opting to sit him out every week. I don't understand why the 18th man isn't rotated each week

I would have put Latu in the centre today and pushed AD out to wing to see how he goes.
He has strong defence and clearly is a team player. Need to look after him as he may be a starting half soon...

Moments … Luke Laulilii ill discipline & uncontested spill by Heath Mason changes the monentum of game. We were on top until then but lack the composure to deal with the swing. Warriors score 3 in 10 mins.

What forward should be next man up for our NRL team in your opinion BlackWhiteGold ?
