Funnily enough, it's actually the 4th mentioned alongside us.

In fairness to the Tigers, the other ones they haven't really wanted (Cambo) or were more pie in the sky stuff executed by the local council (Leichhardt, Liverpool).

This one sounds like it is actually being driven by the Tigers.

… and thank god it's out of Leichhardt council area. Darcy and the greens would somehow find a way to kill it or stifle with excessive delays while spruking how much they love the Tigers. Even with them out of power at the moment, i feel they would somehow try to find a way.

Concord Oval was always in the Canada Bay Council which has now amalgamated with Strathfield and Burwood (not Leichhardt) councils to form the Inner West Council.

Not to be too pedantic, but the new "inner West Council" is the merged Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville councils.

This is one of the most promising proposals so far. I hope the state govt steps up!

I don't think that that the state government can afford too many more public relation disasters, after the Greyhound ban, Council amalgamations and the Orange By-election.
They will need some positive news to turn their popularity around.
So Mr Ayres kick in some cash, or get your butt kicker at the next election.
