Heck, Mining companies, AMA, various lobby groups all have access to the executive.

Why the referendum?
When Aboriginal people elect leaders who mention the issues in their communities. They get kicked.

Aboriginal Australia need to have their own leaders, Not Lidia Thorpe, Not ms Price, not even Linda Burney. They are all party appointed Aboriginals and we don't know if they speak truly for Aboriginal communities.

It's like saying Lee Hagipantis speaks for all Tigers fans. Lee says everything at the club is FINE!

I was going to vote Yes until i read what the yes voters were posting. Turned me right off voting yes.

I was in the Yes Camp until I Saw the Activists and what they're really after.

I’m not understanding this argument that the voice would only be so for the ‘elite/ educated’ indigenous people (as if they shouldn’t be entitled to a say). It’s an in principle question, the nuts and bolts still to be determined and changed if required by future legislatures.

The arguement is there are already Billions spent on ingenious programmes, councils and depts etc and nothing or very little has changed for grass roots aboriginals. Where has that money gone ? And where will even more go.

Maybe Kamahl saw how the YES campaigners were spitting on people because they have the temerity to say NO and so called intelligent academics calling every day Australian stupid and racist while the Prime Minister of the country refuses to provide detail about the Voice and basically says, trust me, we will work it out later.

I reckon he was voted in because the people were sick of the other mob.
He isn’t a very likeable guy, sort of a whingey-whiney type…and he has a short temper if pressured.
