we're getting close to 200 pages…

greetings to those that still think im hi5'ing,

heres my 2 cents.... (yes im old and still have a few copper coins on the desk)

whats happening is a process whereby people (lawyers) are brought in to write a report.
none of the content is "unknown" to anyone involved
its just a formality, if you will to formally put all the cards on the table and then the powers that be (the board) make some kind of "informed" judgement.

why is it all falling on JT - put frankly and write or wrong - regardless of performance in 2015 -
is because it all blew up on his watch.

regardless of whether hes a good coach or not or if he likes Farah or not or whatever all the nonsense is ...... he as the coach has done some things - that none of us here are privy to - that has turned off his players as a team.

the one thing that no-one seems to mention is that in the last few weeks, nearly every article written about the dramas at the club all seem to mention Ivan Cleary and his close relationship to justin Pascoe.
im not too sure its a coincident

Of course it will be the class clown to take over the captaincy. Fitting that someone with Woods personality would be the one to lead us as it reflects the clowns in the front office. There's no one more deserving in the entire team to take over than Lawrence in regards to how he carries himself on and off the field. But I guess you have to appease the folk who see Woods and say "that Woodsy is a knockabout bloke with his wild hair and bushy beard"

To clarify, I'm not upset that Woods was given the nod as much as I am disappointed for Lawrence being overlooked. The guy has paid his dues. He was the next in line till he was nearly crippled. He's sacrificed a lot for this club and really turned a corner this yr form wise, not to mention is a professional in every sense of the word. Very disappointing.

As Chris is not wanted and has been asked to look elsewhere, I'm not surprised he isn't been offered the Captaincy. But i agree that Chris or Dean would make good Captains.

Adam Houda does need to keep some clients for himself

This is going off thread but everybody has the right to be represented by whom they think will best serve their purpose. Crim lawyers withhold judgement of their clients so as to keep an unbiased mind to be able to represent them to the best of their ability. That is what the client pays for and expects. The more suspect we may be of their cient is actually a judgement of how good the client thinks their lawyer is.

From all accounts, she's one tough cookie….Excels in her field. A damn good barrister and very, very expensive to hire.

I guess that is why her quotes and the story itself come across as laughable.

"There is some horrible stuff going on out there."

“It’s an absolute abomination in my view. The interviews have shown he is highly regarded by all the players at the club. He has got integrity plus.”

“All I can say is you’ve got to wonder who this Jason Taylor is.”

From an unbiased mind it all sounds like she has formed a pretty biased opinion in favour of her client.

It was reported recently that she was Farah's barrister in regards to the handling of his case and yet now she is independently also running an investigation on behalf of the players union into the Tigers club which judging from the quotes seems to be heavily focused on R. Farah.

Why are people not reporting the conflict of interest here? How can this report be treated seriously and even be reported as such!

This does sound like an Ayoub stitch up and I am a Farah fan.

The issue is he knows the inept workings at WT and we will be exposed as a poorly run operation in all departments. I don't rate Taylor at all but s&c have been better however, its obvious to me the players don't respect him.

I'm sure the players who pay for the NRLPA are over the moon that Ayoubs client, Clint newton, paid a crap load of money to farahs lawyer to win a PR battle for farah.

Because to build a case a lawyer has to present facts If the Wests Tigers have done nothing wrong then they have nothing to be concerned about because she will not have any evidence.

Well to me it makes sense for the players union to choose a lawyer who has form in representing players' interest. Another poster here in another thread has given her an excellent reference

At face value it could look shocking the treatment of Farah for a person under contract with the Club to be literally hounded out of the Club. As she states he has no record of breaches and the players she interviewed supported him as captain.

The contract is not just Farah getting the money via another club if that is what WT desires but playing for the Club in a respected manner. Strictly speaking it is unfair of some posters here to harass Farah out of the Club because his lawyer is making the Club look bad. As their captain Farah is showing good form in protecting players' rights.

I think the bigger question is can this thread hit 200 pages before pre-season starts on Monday….I think it can....

bump

What is the official cut off time for beginning of pre season? Do we get extra injury time for writers'cramp?

So far I have read up to page 104 - what an anti-climax if it all gets worked out before I finish reading.

Don't know , the in's and out's of the situation and don't care much about the political side of things Gallagher.
Good legal representation though, doesn't come cheap.

If Farah doesnt play FG next year the 6000 that showed upto our last home game of the season will look like a full house.. the NRL appointed board are here to run this proud club into the ground.. Major sponsors and passionate fans triguboff, barnes & field are just a few of the notables who have all voiced their opposition.

please Taylor Go

Correct. That's why ayoub got the NRLPA to foot the bill

If you say so.

So you think it's a coincidence that Farah's lawyer was picked as the person to do the independent report. Picked by one of Ayoubs clients.
To quote you mama on about a thousand of your posts
