Dude haven't you been feeling the love this evening

And you had to dig this thread up :brick:

Suppose it could of been worse it could of been a Moltzen thread or a Balmain v Wests thread

Yeah I dug this thread up, right after others got on this thread to gloat that they were right because the team is on a winning streak. :roll

I guess I should just shut my mouth as my opinion means nothing to nobody, only the messiah lovers are entitled to free speech. :master:

If you had read my post I was stating that who knows where we could be with a new coach. For all he has done to be coaching the one club for 10 years with 1 premiership is an absolutely amazing record and am unsure if it has ever been replicated in history.

I enjoyed the win, and the last 2 years were definately a pass mark, but I also would like to see another premiership with the team… ah I give up posting. God forbid people can have an opinion that challenges others.

Sorry Ant was only joking mate Should of thrown a lol in

6 in a row! do you still want to sack him. I really don't understand some people on this forum. People are never happy with what they have.

Just think where this club was when Tim wasnt in charge ? now compare it we are miles in front and dont look like slowing down, we dont sign overpriced duds anymore we choose who plays for the tiges now and dont have to jump at every off contract player anymore

I could ask the question of you, why do you accept nearly as being good enough? Why do you accept a team that plays brilliantly for 6-10 weeks every year but plays god damn awful for much more?

Why do you accept a coach that hasnt delivered a premiership in 7 years? Why do you accept a coach that has made the finals 3 times in the last 9 years of coaching at the Wests Tigers?

No one is disputing the club was a rabble prior to Tim Sheens and he has done wonderfully to turn it around. But one day the messiah will eventually retire and Im pretty sure the world wont come to an end. In fact maybe the club could become a real powerhouse that displays consistency on a week to week basis with a structured coaching style.

I am not denying the last 6 weeks have been great in the most part, but the 5 before that were ordinary to say the least! I would love to see at least 1 more premiership in the Benji Marshall era as it would be an absolute travesty if this club didnt at least make the grand final this year considering the squad and potential of these players.

Does my opinion about the coach matter to anyone but myself, no. The messiah has a contract until the end of 2014 and nothing I can say or do will change that. But it does astound me that supporters of this club still pull out the same lines of 'we were crap in 2002', IT WAS 10 BLOODY YEARS AGO!! :bash Manly were in a worse state, yet look at them now.

Exactly mate, most first grade coaches could have coached this team to be top a 4 side, and what is with the swapping of Ryan and Rowdy, then swapping back, why not leave it alone for a while Tim.
I don't think Sheens has excelled to get us where we are,we were favourites remember,we should be up the top with our roster,so we need more than that this year,it is time to deliver and get another premiership before our window closes.

You do realise that he played a role in building the squad.
Even in a 40-0 win, people are complaining about his tactics.

Only 1 team can win the comp each year, to expect your club to win every year or every second or third year, and sack the coach if you dont, is an unrealistic expectation.

As Ive said before I hope you guys calling for Sheens to be sacked, dont have bosses with the same expectations as you, top 4 in consecutive years, 6 wins on the trot, the latest being 40-0…..if doesnt give him job security, what is his pass mark....

Sheens, despite his insane lunacy at times, has proven the last two seasons that he still has what it takes to get us into the top 4\. That i will give him credit for. But, to be fair in each of those yrs, we choked at crucial times, to which i still believe cost us at least one premiership. Someone should have had to answer to that after the Warriors game, but should it have been Sheens? so yes, he can still get us to the business end, but can he get us over the line? if this yr finishes similar to the last 2 seasons, i think that question is entitled to be asked

Dont shoot the messenger.

Yes, I know its been rumoured before…but theres talk close to the top at the club of Ricky Stuart coming in for 2013 to coach with Sheens in a coaching admin/co-ordintor role.

That explains Sticky's sudden love affair for the Tigers players!..

God I hope not.

I hate the way Ricky Stuart coaches, I hate how he talks about the game and reckon he coaches "grubby" behaviour in players.

If we had Stuart as the coach I reckon I'd be as stupid as the anti-Sheens clique.

Ricky has been linked to nearly every club. There are also rumours he will replace Furner at the Raiders. We don't need him.

Stuart's Origin selections have frustrated me more than Sheens' Tigers selections. Not a fan. I want Daniel Anderson

I would love that. We need a coach with some b@lls and Ricky is exactly that. He will not hesitate to say NO! to our top players and further their development as elite athletes.

As I said before in the thread, a coach's job is to TRAIN AN ATHLETE, and no matter how much hatred there is for Sticky, but he knows how to turn good players into great players.

Balls are okay if you have brains… A coach's job is to get the best out of the players. A conditioner will train them.

NO NO NO NO TO RICKY he is a goose and is not a good coach, would rather keep sheens in a weelchair than that clown.

u think ricky don't have brains? people criticize him winning those premiership/s with roosters saying he had a very good roster, we have an excellent roster and i think he brought out the best in them.

i think stuart is a good coach for origin but not at NRL level. id prefer sheens over him.

i think the opposite actually. sheens can get them to perform well in big matches, but he cannot make the team perform consistently.
