I’m not biased but Leichhardt Oval is the only option. It’s the closest home ground to Balmain heartland and West’s Ashfield. We are an inner west team and it’s the best inner west stadium.

Get it upgraded for corporates and stretch the grandstand around leaving the hill area with new bars and toilet facilities. It doesn’t need to be modern just improved.

Players will be more attracted to training out of Concord and playing at Leichhardt oval. Outside of the Eastern Suburbs the inner west would be the most popular spot for young athletes to live.

I only really loved Lidcombe Oval, Belmore, Leichhardt Oval and the old St George Stadium for Sydney Olympic Games.

The funny thing is I can remember 20000 at Lidcombe so I’m not sure why we need large stadiums we don’t get that crowd 40 years later.

It’s a fraud by stadiums and governments if the club was strong enough it wouldn’t need the bribery money to play at ANZ and Wankbest

I would love Leichhardt to be our home ground. An upgrade would be awesome. But I’m a realist and it won’t happen. I’m reluctantly willing to bid the old girl good bye if it means we play out of one home ground. (Tears as I type I might add!!)

I'm the same, but the SFS is a terrible idea. LO is one of my favourite places in the world, but it is getting very close to the time of saying goodbye. I think we should have one year of playing at LO and CSS only, to say goodbye and then move to Bankwest permanently.

Logic is so flawed.

All public transport in Sydney and most of the motorways are designed to get people from anywhere into the city.

If the club is not pushing for a singe local ground (with upgrades) in either Campbelltown or Balmain then the only 2 options are the SFS or Homebush. Based on the fact that Homebush is a dog of ground to watch football at, the I lean towards the SFS.

Pretty sure the LED curtain to hide the upper deck at the new stadium when there’s smaller crowds has been scrapped.

WestsTigers playing out of Moore Park - crazy. I really wish the smaller Homebush stadium was going ahead because that would be perfect.

SFS re-development was /is a complete balls up ...it was a good venue to watch a game at ..all it needed was a few more bars and a lick of paint .
Homebush should’ve been the priority imo

So true. No idea why they pulled down SFS. Alan Jones and his cronies had a lot to do with it

As an old magpie I could live with that... I don't go to many games these days anyway so I'm not really fussed... Might get more interested if they start producing a more interesting product onfield

It's unlikely we would ever get funding to accomplish a LO renovation, but for identity, I think it would be a good move to play all games out of LO.

Homebush, had it been renovated would have made the most sense out of the options that are legitimately available, but it's going to remain a big stadium with no atmosphere.

It'd down the road from Concord and it connects to the west as well.

Purely to watch football, SFS or Bankwest are miles ahead of all of them.

I did train it sometime in day games... Would park at lidcombe or strathfirld... I had a young child back then, was a sole parent & didn't want the long walk and two trains @10.30 at night.. Had free tickets to every game but the commute annoyed me no end

No is was not .... I posted 6 months ago it would not be done in this political cycle . There’s plenty of money as the infrastructure spend soon will attest, it was a political decision only ...the hospitals before stadium was going to hurt politically . The present gov has moved on nothing will happen at ANZ for many yrs . So the option of Moore Pk is a serious one .

Ahhh....fair enough...especially if there were a few rowdy ones with the young one around.

One thing's for sure...whatever the club decides...some of us will be happy and some of us won't 😕

What I would give for every game to be during the day on a Saturday or Sunday.

Cannot stand sitting in the evening cold during the dead of winter. Much rather sit in the pub or on the couch at home and watch on the idiot box.

I'd be at every game abusing the hell out of the other side if only I could do it with the sun shining on my face

How good would it be to ride into Central with the various Tigers fans on your Train/bus/metro/tram and Then light rail or walk up SFS. Would create a cool game day atmosphere

I've barely missed a game in 20 years, but making it to the SFS on a Friday night would be virtually impossible. We are not an Eastern Suburbs team so I don't see why we would be playing in the Eastern suburbs.
