Good to know and what I and many would've expected:

Sheens: No. I’m not coaching. Madge and I chat regularly. We are in each other’s ear and with his new assistant coaches. I’m not looking over his shoulder and watching every training session. I will have an opinion and Madge knows he’s got me as a sounding board. We’re starting with a blank piece of paper and I’m here to back him up.

Sheens is a very shrewd operator.

Shrewd? As in, says one thing but means the opposite?

Nobody is doubting his shrewdness, but as the head of his fan club, I don't think he would appreciate your inference about his honesty that you are suggesting here. But, dream on.

Tragic,

Shrewd = astute, sharp witted, intelligent.

It is not a reflection of honesty or integrity.

To suggest otherwise is incorrect.

Given your prolific comments on here about Sheens basically taking over the coaching of the NRL team, your response to a contributor who posted comments, allegedly by Sheens, which directly contradict your comments, you offer that Sheens is "shrewd".

I'll let others decide the inference of your comments but, to me, it's just more of your deluded nonsense. But now you've cast doubt on the integrity of the man you love. Awful.

Sheens has had an immediate impact on recruitment at WTs. A very positive impact. The way he has dealt with the media has also been well received. The interview with Buzz this morning was very good. The discerning forum members are very happy with his efforts to date. And then there is you.

Thanks for posting

Sheens has always been a good communicator..

that was an awesome interview !!! Love Slats and Badge, they definately had a good connection with Sheensy!! im excited on where we are heading, though i wish they asked about Codric

Sheens is doing a good job as he is not coaching.
He is outshining an absolute pretender in Hartigan which is already reaping dividends.
Keep him out of Madge’s box and he’ll continue to thrive here.

Loved that interview and shows that Sheen is our media talking guy now moving forward.
He just knows his shit and wont take any sloppy journos rubbish.
I was hoping for update on Stefo and Cotric as well

Sheens will make a big impact right across the organisation....people who have followed the WTs since inception understand that the turmoil within was what got him sacked...he is now in a new environment and is respected by many, many people...
Maguire will benefit greatly from Tim being there, the pressure valve will be released from a coaching point of view that Madge doesnt have to look over his shoulder anymore and can do his job without interference....Sheens will be at hand IF Madge requires some advice...
A fantastic year ahead overall...

When Tim was sacked, it was well and truly time for him to go.
He was making crazy decisions that lasted for years after he left.
Support him, but keep one eye on him.

You maybe right Tuck...but ask yourself why he was making bad decisions...pressure from the factional inhouse fighting.?...we need to keep an open mind and why he has been asked to come back now that WA and others have solidified the organisation as a whole....

I think he’ll do well as management, he is already making an impact that guys like Hartigan could only dream of.
Use his standing in the game, his connections, his experience to bring talent in to help raise the homegrown lads.
Leave the coaching to Madge and his assistants. If he fails, he gets replaced.

Sheens has been unbelievable since walking into the building. whole feeling around the club has changed and that can't be a coincidence. having him, Robbie, Benj, Skando, Galea in the building ensures the Wests Tigers DNA is alive and well inside the walls. may it continue.

Gardiner takes over if Madge is replaced no one better available on the market as coach

Lets see what Sheens thinks of the Ebbs and Flows in 2022.

Sheens' coaching career has been one of ebbs and flows. Mostly ebbs recently.
