The mental side of staying in games is what they need to work on most…. Glad they think the D is ok :brick:
Disappointing... Heard it all before

All young players struggle with inconsistency but given that we haven't got the experienced players around them to take over when they are struggling our get exposed for everyone to see.
It's a giant leap from under 20's to nrl star. Brooks was elevated before his time and has been learning on the job. He was lauded as our saviour placingveven more pressure on him (sign of a weak club clutching at straws).
Brooks will make it if he keeps his head and works hard ie. becomes a professional. If I was making decisions on pricing his new contract it would be around attitude and application to training. I don't like some of the whispers I am hearing re brooks and I think you can see this in his game. You gotta do the hard work so you are confident you can hold your own and have the confidence of the other players. There are no weeks off at nrl level.

Agree with you Larry - I also think he can make it.
Brooks has to do the hard yards ( or should that be metres now) and knuckle down at training, From all reports he is doing that. The NRL is not a place to be shy and go into your shell and just go through the motions.
Brooks needs to stand up and grab the game by the scruff of the neck when we need him to do that. He and Moses complement each other and have through their earlier careers. With the previous dummy half gone - they both should get early service from the PTB to enable them to have more time to think and put their brilliance into operation. Ballin and Liddle both give good quick service and Liddle has a good running game to also put the opposition in two minds.
All we need are the forwards to stand up, which I think they will, to most packs and Brooks will have no excuse for not doing his bit. If he wants the big dough - this is a make or break year.
