Someone called Leo Simona (apparently Tim's little brother) posted on Facebook yesterday that Mose Masoe has signed with us, and it will be coming out shortly through the media.

Don't know if it was serious or a joke?

Pretty stupid joke to make however, so take it as you want.

Masoe has signed with the dragons.

Yep.

'Leo' should give himself an uppercut or two.

Leo sounds as dumb as his brother.

Was probably over the line until he saw the weekends game.

That's true as well, but if we were, we'd be offering massive overs just for him to consider, let alone come here.

At the risk of being shot down, we have a promising prop out injured for the year with a shoulder injury.

I don't think prop is a big concern for us unless we lose Galloway which I don't think would be that bad.

Speaking of Galloway, was anyone else surprised he started the game? Do you think at this stage of his career he should start from the interchange?

Wow!! Another Facebook/Twitter rumour that is incorrect. What a suprise. Has there even been ONE correct??

The gullibility of some people never ceases to amaze me.

Who is gullible, Col?

We are always going to get rumours of players coming to the Tigers,it's the way of the world these days to put something on social media and let it run….
When the club tells us we have a major signing who plays second row or a signing of a centre...then quite honestly I don't care who else they rumour to be coming here...

Anyone who believes what is reported on Twitter, Facebook etc over the Weststigers club.

Nothing official from the club? It ain't happening.

I was hoping June 30 would have a silver lining for us with a few signings such as
Adam Docker, Mahe Fonua, Chris Grevsmuhlor Jordan Kahu who would be reasonably
cheap given their current status in the game.

I would also keep Moltzen on a reduced rate and look to see him play centre as he was quite quick in the past with good hands ( except catching bombs)

The club is broke and using about $1m from its cap to run the football operations… That's why we are shedding players and signing nobody ... The football operations side of the club ain't generating enough income to sustain itself and is using CAP money to stay afloat... 100%

I thought the NRL funded basically the whole thing.

If this is the case it is ridiculous, the NRL head office is expanding by media reports so they obviously have no problem feathering their own nest, well what about passing on some of the cash to the clubs eg Wests Tigers so they don't need salary cap money to pay for staff, the money should go to players, no wonder we are behind the eight ball.

That's what all the clubs have been kicking up a stink about… The NRL bragging about how much money they are making while the clubs see very little.

They have a valid case.
