Don’t rate Isaac luke at all tbh. Lazy, slow, sluggish hooker imo. In saying that, don’t think there are many, if any hookers on the market atm.

Whilst he is in the side I think he will start in the opening exchanges. Allowing someone like Levi whom I mentioned to come into the game once the spaces open up.
Mbye with a whole off season could become a good hooker. If it’s between him and Marshall you’d back Mbye to hold his own in D.
If Mbye is moved on different story. But 900,000 is a lot for a centre when you could do a job with Momo or Lomax if he is signed.
The other option is Sione Katoa whom I don’t really rate.
I don’t think we are desperate for a hooker even with Lids injured. The options out there aren’t all that great and no better then what we could manufacture.

I don't think you can make an automatic connection. Reynolds has a contract so unless someone else is interested he's not going anywhere. I thought he looked sharp in small doses last week.

The club will be making announcements regarding McQueen, Reynolds and Mats after the season is over

Look, if they were only announcements like Matulino getting medically retired, I could believe that. Players swaps? There's no way that wouldn't get leaked. Too many people involved.

This one is full of discussion that leads nowhere. How many signings have we made since this thread started?

Mate you need to re-read the subject line, it's signing suggestions and rumours. So it's intentionally discussion that leads nowhere and rumour. Actual signings get their own thread.

I *do not* prefer each rumour having its own thread, because we had every Thomas, Richard and Harold starting up new threads to cover some random player who popped into their brain.

Salary cap won’t be a problem - as Mbye, Reynolds, Packer, Mats, Masters, ET, McQueen all won’t be featuring all probably accumulating to around 3.5 million roughly

The addition of current free agent Jesse Ramien and unwanted Curtis Scott would set up a very talented combination - unfortunately this means letting go of Masters which I’m sure there’ll be suitors but he has been pretty poor this season

Sione Katoa can’t get a game in first grade, but I can’t tell you why I can see him having a JAC effect if he comes to the tigers - also off contract end of 2020

AJ Brimson has been reported to be heavily targeted by the tigers, he’s a fullback imo and would be a very good one

Blake Green is off contract next season and would be a perfect foil to brooks in the halves, I’ve heard from a few people I know that he wants out of NZ - had a tremendous year last year and early this year but has dropped off a little but I wouldn’t blame it all on him

Christian Welch made his SOO origin debut this season, absolute gun it was reported we were interested in bringing him over but he did his ACL so he took up his player option for one more season - following the injury I don’t think his value would be that high and would be a great addition

Jai Arrow would be the only one out of the list who will attract the big money, if we can sell him a vision through Madge and offer him the big bucks along with also bringing over Brimson the only shining light other than himself from the Titans then we may have a red hot chance

If we don’t get Arrow both Fifita and Kapow are both off contract as well!

This team I can see challenging for a top 4 spot, none of the player highlighted would necessarily break the bank except for Arrow who would be commanding around 800-900k a year which I would pay tbh - hoping to hear from other forum members on there thoughts
