Zane Tetevano (the unlucky player dropped from the GF to make way for Friend) is up for grabs, won’t be at the Roosters next season from what I hear. Wouldn’t it be great if we could actually get a player like this instead of having to rely on fringe first graders all the time.

JWH a possibility of going also, though most likely Penrith bound - they always seem to pick up the best forwards then still somehow play like crap!

Under no circumstances should the club even entertain signing grubs like this guy.

JWH, probably too late and pricey at this stage.

May 2015: Tetevano's lawyer tells a judge Tetevano has no intentions of returning to the ‘‘toxic environment’’ of the NRL as he pleads for leniency after being convicted of repeated spousal abuse.
October 2016: Tetevano signs with the Roosters.

It actually makes me physically sick. F- this guy, f- the Roosters and f- the NRL. Hypocritical scumbags, all of them.

There should be a register of offenders of such ilk, so that potential victims can avoid them.

@iofthetigers 29??? Jesus, I thought he was still young, like mid 20s.

Roosters website says he's 27

That would mean he’s 29 then. Rorters struggle with number accuracy

True, they likely knock a couple of years off them when they want to move them on. They probably told us Braith was 27 when they shipped him our way

Yeah they need to check their calculators. Crowds of 2000 mysteriously become 8000!!

Made me laugh, but you are right, easts have no consideration for the correct actual numbers on anything

Yeah everything says born January 1992, so 27. He'd be a good signing for lock.

With Musgrove a strong possibility of returning, I think what money we have would be better spent in other areas eg more of the best young talent. Talau has had one year in CC/Flegg and is now being talked about as an NRL centre. That is a good return on an investment,

@iofthetigers He'd be amazing... 27 years old, can kick goals, has won premierships. Looked really good in the GF as well while playing as an edge backrower.
It's a far cry but imagine:

11. Garner
12. Tuaikeaho
13. Arrow

If we get enough dough for Matterson - Tuaikeaho would be a good replacement.

Current Rorter for Former Rorter.

Both 23 and 17 days - both were on 125k so whats not to like. Lol

His knees are shot. Good player, but no way to any long term contract.

@TheDaBoss - Just read in The Age an article which stated the following "In-demand Titans forward Jai Arrow has admitted career opportunities for his partner in Sydney could convince him to make the move south." His partner is a model and there are more career opportunities for her in Sydney, so you never know!! Link is https://www.theage.com.au/sport/nrl/cupid-s-arrow-partner-would-benefit-from-sydney-switch-says-jai-20191011-p52zuv.html .

@pawsandclaws1 ?? I must have missed that one. What is your source?

On this forum I believe comment that CC TV footage of whatever happened may be important.

Also, it played on my mind but I found it from POM -

RE: Signing Suggestions & Rumours
@Roar_Power If Zane’s court case is dismissed (as expected) it’s highly likely he’ll be playing for us in 2020.

Just checked wiki says 27, that makes a big difference. at 27 I'm in, at 29, not so much

No idea, just what I was told, don’t know if he has spoken with anyone. Personally I would prefer Lindsay Collins.

Oh, no thank you

Just a side thought, but how many players that have been let go by the Roosters or the Storm, have actually gone on to have quality seasons at another NRL club?
There's RTS, (though he wanted to go), Mitchell Pierce, Inglis (in his earlier seasons after leaving the Storm) - anyone else??
Point being, it seems to me that those clubs only let players go once they have passed their use by date or they have a good reason to cut them.

Looks to me like our Club is thinking outside the square.. with this talk of Reynolds going to the Titans - maybe we are trying a package deal, if they want Matterson they need to take up Reynolds contract as well. Hopefully they are angling at a swap of Titans players as part of the deal.

In Telly today there was a rumour post with a teaser Q:-
Which two rep stars could be part of a tree club shuffle..?.

Have a guess to win a prize!
