One thing we do know is any chance of Thompson signing with us would appear to be almost nil. Too risky to sign an anti-vaxxer who's also in suspension trouble. He'll be back in England by next season.

Has the club made a stance on the vaccinations yet? I think he’d be a good signing but need clarity on whether he’d be allowed to play. Would add a lot to our pack

He likely wouldn't be allowed to play in Victoria or Queensland, depending on the draw that's a quarter of the season.

At his salary, and with our squad having so few spaces left, it's just too big of a gamble to sign someone that isn't a team player
