EELS TO OFFLOAD MOSES

WE keep hearing Parramatta are shopping around half Mitchell Moses after a decision was made that either Corey Norman or the former Wests Tigers star has to go.

The Eels know Moses will attract more interest from rival clubs, which means it will be easier to offload him without a huge burden on their salary cap. Norman is on nearly $900,000 next year and would struggle to find a club to pay even half of that.

My goodness - this could play havoc with a players mental health. Could we see a player using the mental health card as a reason not to be shopped around.

More likely it **is** the reason he is being shopped around.

WTs should have a look a Bubba Kennedy's son in the Jets side. Seems like a good smart young back.

Bubba was still playing last year, must be getting close to 50 by now.

That was a great era when Balmain could recruit Bubba Kennedy, Mark Stimson and Glenn Morrison from country football. I'm glad our new junior recruitment officer is on the ball. You only need to look at the Penrith lower grades to see many of their good young forwards come from Bathurst, Parkes Dubbo and all towns in between.

I hope Moses goes to a superleague club (to a really average club with even worse defense), never to be seen in the NRL again.

I second that motion!

James Tamou made 99 metres, 34 of them post contact and 20 tackles in a 30 minute stint last night. Yet everyone on here reckons he's past it - I don't think so. It would take Packerlino to play 2 full games to get those figures!

Still a decent prop in my opinion. If we were looking at him, you still want panthers to cover a majority of his contract though.

Wouldn't we be looking at the players the Panthers are attempting to retain by offloading Tamou and Co.

Does anyone still think Curtis Rona is a chance? Not making Wallibies test team of late. Don't know why, maybe injured. Still think he would be a great buy.

:deadhorse:

He does have a point - and there is a rumour doing the rounds that he was seen driving along Parramatta Rd and pulled in to Five Dock Maccas which is just near Concord.

Pretty sure he lives near there.

Maybe he was at the Illinois Hotel for a meeting with Brooks & Reynolds

Tevaga’s management has begun discussions with the Warriors, while the three rival clubs, including one Sydney team, have yet to table formal offers.
