Why was Farah ostrasised by Taylor? Don't think he dropped him because he was a SOO player.
Please feel free to enlighten me. (Not just because Taylor was a dope)
I honestly think JT was railroading Robbie out because the Board wanted it done. Taylor was just the guy enacting their wishes, and when it went sour in the public sphere, the board stood back from it, saved their own backsides, and let it all fall on JT's shoulders and dumped him.
Just a theory.
That's basically how I understood it as well. They were thinking RF was getting to much power.
Yeah, when Pascoe just came in and his first major action was pretty well having the coach apologise in front of the playing group. I couldn't believe that the club had gone through all the pain of media and fan backlash etcetera and Farah was testing the waters elsewhere, then he saddled us up for another half season on the same lame horse before starting the painful process again.
Could have finished it then and there, but another four seasons later WT just last a week ago finished losing a further $335k and he didn’t even play.
So true. I remember his first interview in the paper when he got the job. He was gonna resolve the Farah issue and get us into one home ground as priorities.
Lol, great job.
Yeah, makes we want to scream, just as I felt when I first read in this thread that the traitor was looking at bringing him back, with my blood boiling. No doubt as a club WT have made our share of mistakes and whilst Pascoe has done well in some areas, his handling of the Farah fiasco was horrendous from day one and the worst of a bad lot.
Lucky to have a job, but was disappointed the board didn't back Marina Go in fighting the penalties.
