Heard through the grapevine that Will Chambers is coming back to the NRL. Not sure where, but given he’s already had two stints at the Storm, it’s possible he could be coming back for a third. It could pave the way for Melbourne to finally release JAC to us.

The grapevine, it was in the paper

Lol

It’s 2020. I don’t read the paper.

Why was Farah ostrasised by Taylor? Don't think he dropped him because he was a SOO player.

Please feel free to enlighten me. (Not just because Taylor was a dope)

I honestly think JT was railroading Robbie out because the Board wanted it done. Taylor was just the guy enacting their wishes, and when it went sour in the public sphere, the board stood back from it, saved their own backsides, and let it all fall on JT's shoulders and dumped him.

Just a theory.

I received info from a directly related source at the time that suggested this is correct.

The strangest thing about this story is that there is a restaurant called Abbatoir Blues. Who calls a restaurant that?

https://abattoirblues.com.au/

I love the logo of a cow shedding a tear. I like the name.

And special reference to the breed known as Aberdeen Mansourangus.

Do they deliver

Try Uber eats Happy
You can pay the delivery costs
You might actually make the Guinness book of records

Think it was the whole giving the team to the big 3.

That's basically how I understood it as well. They were thinking RF was getting to much power.

Yeah, when Pascoe just came in and his first major action was pretty well having the coach apologise in front of the playing group. I couldn't believe that the club had gone through all the pain of media and fan backlash etcetera and Farah was testing the waters elsewhere, then he saddled us up for another half season on the same lame horse before starting the painful process again.

Could have finished it then and there, but another four seasons later WT just last a week ago finished losing a further $335k and he didn’t even play.

So true. I remember his first interview in the paper when he got the job. He was gonna resolve the Farah issue and get us into one home ground as priorities.
Lol, great job.

Yeah, makes we want to scream, just as I felt when I first read in this thread that the traitor was looking at bringing him back, with my blood boiling. No doubt as a club WT have made our share of mistakes and whilst Pascoe has done well in some areas, his handling of the Farah fiasco was horrendous from day one and the worst of a bad lot.

Lucky to have a job, but was disappointed the board didn't back Marina Go in fighting the penalties.

Caught up with a mate not long ago and it came up. From paying Farah to play for south's, paying out Taylors contract when we sacked him, paying Farah to play here again, his ambassadors payment and the subsequent penalties, it would have cost us over $2mill.
For zero benefit!
And they then ask me to give them my money!! They're having a laugh.

I wonder if Panther supporters are going to hold a rally?

Honestly, this just makes the way Farah reacted to his tap on the shoulder even more shameful and embarrassing.

They tapped the wrong player too Edwards is bog average hopefully this is his undoing and he gets the karma he deserves.

Thank you. I’m glad someone else sees it. Heard him get praised numerous times throughout the season for being able to catch the ball on the full. Put him in another team last season and you wouldn’t hear a word of him

I think he’ll go if they tie up 2 decent fullbacks in Chrichton and Staines.

Don't know. Never been there. Although Cochise said it was OK.

Why would the board want him gone? Did Robbie represent the bad side of the marriage? He was a wanderer, wasn’t he?
The board is still there. Unfortunately recruitment will continue to be an issue for us if players don’t necessarily want to be treated in this way.

The menu makes me feel uninspired

Joey Ratu heading off to Queensland for next season according to his Instagram. No idea what team, always thought he looked a decent player though.

The cupboard is looking extremely bare for 2021.

Apart from Tamou, all we've signed rookies that other clubs obviously didn't see as priorities.

Unless there are a few decent signings on the way, we're going to be battling for the spoon.
