I doubt he would have been left with any doubt what the club plan was for him. Hartigan seems to be very up front with players about their value and worth to the club.

I think the club will give Roberts another chance to prove himself, considering his wage isn't really impacting the club cap wise.

BJ has 4 weeks to have the club activate his option for 2022, he's been playing well but his wage for next year is a risk if he doesn't become consistent.

are Gildart and/or Gagai close?

Gildart is a matter of visa & paperwork (hence no announcement yet), Hastings was easier as he's already an aussie citizen.
No genuine interest in Gagai, just manager talk.

I really like Gildart as a signing. Watching the SL over here in London, if he can keep his body right, he will go alright. He is tough, good defender and has good attacking flair plus guys coming from Wigan have a great winning mentality. Hoping this comes off, think Jarrod Crocker minus the goal kicking.

That is your opinion but i am assuming you have never seen him play apart from a 2min clip on youtube. Croker is a decent player who has been very unlucky to not have played SOO. Not playing great this year, I agree, but not a terrible player. Write Gildart off at your own peril.

You’d want someone to take at least $500k of Mbye’s contract. Anything less then that doesn’t make sense .

Liam Martin is a bloody good player, rugged, dynamic with lots of energy... better than Capewell I reckon. Wonder how he feels about being stuck behind him, and how he'd go at lock?
You mentioned Seb Kris earlier... good eye. I like the look of him, young tough, aggressive and stuck in a log-jam of Raiders outside backs.
