I would also have a crack at Isaako.

We are very short in wingers. Isaako kicks at 80%, and while he's had an ordinary year in defence, his tackle efficiency has hit 80% in 2 of the last 3 seasons.

Nofoaluma's hovers at around 75%.

Im surprised it took someone so long to ask about Hynes, my guess would be not, if there was talk of him i reckon Pom would have dropped a word. I'd like to have him here too but theres possibly little interest from his side or ours or both for whatever reason unfortunately.

To be honest if we are flying up days after being up their for magic round then I think discussion are further along than a first meeting. Madge didn't fly back to Sydney until Sunday so flew back up 3 days later.

Hopefully we can get something done with them. Isaako would be a major get for us if we could get him this year to play wing.

Isaako would be a good get but Pangai would be even better.

You could argue Jimmy the jet hasn’t really had many opportunities this year, but I’d move him on if we can land Isaako. Move Tommy into the centre’s with Joey. We’d also have AJ lurking as well, having recovered from his ACL.

The club has been trying to get Issako for the best part of 3-4 Months. Was originally meant to be a swap deal with Walters in the early rounds of the year. He's been told he's free to leave but Broncos keep moving the goal posts when a deal seems close to be done.
But as many have pointed out you don't send your 3 main recruiting agents on a flight for a simple coffee.
TPJ is an interesting one, few murmurs around that he & Walters (Coach) don't see eye to eye & Broncos will unwillingly release him to free up money & ease tensions in the playing group but he's apparently not the only one on the nose with Walters.
I'd be fairly confident in getting Issako for this season.

are Gildart and/or Gagai close?

Gildart is a matter of visa & paperwork (hence no announcement yet), Hastings was easier as he's already an aussie citizen.
No genuine interest in Gagai, just manager talk.

I really like Gildart as a signing. Watching the SL over here in London, if he can keep his body right, he will go alright. He is tough, good defender and has good attacking flair plus guys coming from Wigan have a great winning mentality. Hoping this comes off, think Jarrod Crocker minus the goal kicking.
