Concerning that he could not get an extended run when the Sharks were injury depleted. When he was off contract as souths I thought he was a possible minimum contract depth signing. Now I am not sure he is worth that much.

Took him ages to find a job for this season and we showed zero interest in him then.
Going to guess that they still aren’t interested.

Having just joined the dots watching NRL 360, appears we offered Brooksie to Canberra but wanted two players in return...

Yeah Buzz did a very poor job of hiding that one.

It's worth having a crack, although I'm not sure it will be that easy to get him off the Roosters when he's got a pathway there.

If you look at 2005 it was a based on kids we had developed and hard headed first graders we brought in to support them. We need a long term plan and need to be identifying those 2022 off contract players that we can offer good contracts to to build around a young team.

Was it. We got lucky with Prince because he was unwanted due to injuries. Hodgo was on the outer at Parra. Benji and Robbie came through. We had a pretty ordinary pack of forwards but guys like Gibbs, Fulton, Laffranchi came good. Mark O'Neill was so slow but he somehow started playing in career best form.

I think you just keep getting juniors but you gotta get a couple of real stars.
