To be honest I think it would be a bit silly to sign a new half just to cover the first 7 or 8 games of the season, when we already have a new half in Hastings coming anyway, as well as Madden.

Wing, centre and second row should be focus.

I'd be doing it regardless.

I think we need to. With Adam out, we need depth in the halves. See if we can get Hoffman or Kei released from the roster as they are not in Madges plans.

I think I'd rather Corey Norman for a year than Ash Taylor. At least Norman wants to play footy.

I think the problem is we don't know if AD will be at 100% at all next season. Hastings could be good but I think resting on him and Brooks could be an issue.

Kimmorley was talking about Ash Taylor last night on SEN radio. Said he is disinterested in footy and doesn't put in at training. Can't see us making a play, especially with Kimmorley's involvement in our club

They were discussing Ash Taylor on NRL 360 the other night. Most agreed that as soon as he got his million dollar contract he thought that was all he had to do. After that never put in the hard yards, started gambing and rested on his laurel.
You never forget how to play footy you just loose the drive and desire.

He is the type of player who would do well under Sheens (as Lui progressed onfield). For what his manager is asking, he would be a good buy.

Know it's hard to maintain perspective but feel it would be unwise as it wouldn't necessarily be beneficial to team development. Also, no offence he doesn't really strike me as the type of player who exemplifies what we need.

6 Brooks

Just tell brooks to run the ball and leave the organising and kicking to hastings

I would look at Peachey instead because he can cover other positions if halves go well.

Yeah and he can still offer value to the team when AD comes back... at 13, 14 or in the centres.

Taylor and Norman are both terrible on the field and would not even be a good model off of it.

Huge no. Would rather look at Crossland, Lachie Lewis, or even Asiata as a stop gap before we wasted money on either of those two. And even still I wouldn’t be rushing to get those 3 either

Not many spots left for the roster next year. Peachy would be a smart buy just to add some extra depth to the halves while AD is out but can play elsewhere if needed.

Can't see us going into a season with Brooks, Hastings and Madden our only halves options. 2 injuries and we could be playing with

7 Madden
