I posted on here last week that we should raid the bulldogs for both Cotric (23) and Thompson (26), both with immense talent but weren’t able to showcase that talent in a TERRIBLE dogs team.

Seems like we’re putting the wheels in motion to jag both and get dogs to chip in….

For the first time in a while, I can genuinely say I’m very happy with how the club seems to be projecting itself with all the signings and rumoured players we’re talking too….. if all goes to plan with all the young stars we’re jabbing we might be Penrith 2.0 in 4-5 years

They are both upgrades in player quality on stock we currently have.

Everything points to a yes.

We are moving towards actual first grade depth in many positions. Which we haven’t had in some time.

Yes I’d like to think so, we have the talent in our squad which will continue to improve as they get more experienced and incoming players set to join soon whereas the bulldogs were a shambles all around

For Thompson to hold his own in a team like that, as he played quite well I think last year says a lot and he will get better as he adapts to the NRL and those pommy forwards age like fine wine - stef would have a partner in crime for another 8-9 years I reckon

Cotric on the other hand, I admit didn’t play that well last year however adapting to a new position in a team who struggles to find points would be very hard, especially in a spine like that ^

We know he has the talent we saw him play origin at 21/22 after 3 incredible years at Canberra, also can cover any position 1-5 if/when injuries occur

Our side looks much better with these two in it.

But is it better than the side who beat us 38-0? Cotric reeks of being the kind of player who needs to be in a good side to shine.

I'm not convinced Timmy is anything other than alive after a recent quote attributed to him. Pleased to see it though.

As for his merit and worth to the club ??....We'll have to wait and see. So far, it's pretty underwhelming.

Done more then Hartigan in like 3 weeks.

Bringing an 18 year old down from far North Queensland is a risky proposition imo.

Politicians are great at talking but near useless at implementing.I would love to see it happen but i won't be holding my breath
