Your a stat man aren't you sleeve, moses must rate high for Parra with touches, passes, assists and tries for himself etc, He is the main man in their attack.
He's also put on a little bit of muscle without losing pace compared to when he was at the tigers, back then he was a paperweight.
I'm reading that the tigers have one more big signing after Bateman.
Surely we wouldn't have salary cap room would we to sign Moses....or do we?

Cap space should be fine to make an offer for Moses but we definitely don’t have as much as Dogs do.

Then you mention saying that Bateman if he comes for next year our pack won’t still be better than Parra’s pack for next year so you didn’t know that they’ve lost a lot of players or you misinterpreted what the OP was saying.

They only have 10 players in their 30 for 24. They have money to spend legit. But they have to be careful still.

Yep I was thinking the same thing, he has a players option for 2024 and atm I read he is currently on 950k?? which means he would be looking at 1.1m+....does that seem right. Who drops out to accommodate that?
Another thing Sleeve, you might be able to answer this.... Bateman is right edge as is Papa, is this an issue, can edge players change these days because I've lost the plot 🤣

Balmain, Wests and the merger have a pretty good track record with English signings. Ellery, Garry Schofield, Andy Courier, Dave Bolton, Gareth Ellis, Lee Crooks, Brian Lockwood.
I reckon Bateman could be another and even better if Williams were to make the move as well.

And don’t forget big Jim Fiddler in ‘74. Goalkicking forward but I remember he always kicked well gaining ground before the 40-20 rule days

We came last, something was needed and Sheens to date is ticking alot of the right boxes so far.

Few of the names he mentioned aren’t there next year. Marata is gone, Papali’I gone, Oregon gone, Mahoney gone, Brown possibly gone, they still have RCG, Paulo, Lane and Matto which is still solid but the pack is weaker than it is this past season. Not the worst pack still but its definitely weaker.

Look at the eels player contracts, some of their players are on peanuts, they will want upgrades.

True but if they want them they’ll have to earn it. Unless they struggle to sign players then they’ll have to earn the upgrades.

Not sure but I think AD at this stage won’t be retained given what his asking price was. Laurie might be another out the door. Only time will tell but we do have money in the cap as some of our big paid players are off contract.

It's not unusual for players to swap, normally the coaching staff work with the players and come to a compromise. Look at Tigers ontacted players on your computer, it will show values and expiry dates , AD, and Laurie are just a couple with contracts ending next year, thats over a million there.

I'm thinking there might be some players sheens has earmarked right now for deletion/transfer pending on who he snares.
I'm going to sit back and watch it all unfold.

Simpkin and Maumalo seem to be the two that people keep mentioning as possibly leaving.

Not sure why Simpkin would be released personally, considering Api isn’t usually an 80 minute hooker.

If he’s gone, we should’ve just kept Nu Brown.

And I like Ken but his injuries this year were handled disgracefully and is looking close to the end of his career.
Shame on the coaching and medical staff for putting him on the field week-in, week-out.
