Not really, there are a lot more variables than whether they like Uncle Scotty.I agree but if he can't tap into talent where he had spent the past decade, Houston we have a problem.

Second rower from last year that the Tigers previously signed from the Storm, he started the year in Manly's top side but has been injured now for a number of weeks.Kelma? Who is he, I forget?
A non competitive offer so close to the same amount that Manly offeredNo they didn’t. They couldn’t agree if they actually wanted him or not so they offered a non-competitive offer and again came away looking looking like exactly what they are, morons.
if you want to hear my conspiracy theory, Fulton was brought in as a measure to keep the vast majority of our youngsters, as he has a great relationship with Tartak. Tartak subsequently manages a number of our gun juniors, namely the cream of the crop from our undefeated Matts side from '22 (Da Silva, the Laulili'i's, William Craig, Miller and a few others). Not really across Manly lower grade talent but Scott Fulton's job has to involve much more than attempting to recruit kids from one source.
Mate your posts crack me up....I reckon you'd be fun to have a beer withYou are aware you probably just put more preparation into that post than the Wests Tigers sets side for recruitment and retention in a year (seemingly).
He would be great. I'd even swap with Asu Kepaoa for him. Both centre/backrowers but Iro is a potential long-term solid centre.I know his name has come up previously but Kayal Iro the 2022 NSW Cup player of the year is currently looking for a new club given his pathway at the Sharks is limited, may be a good centre signing.
surely this Board is not that smartif you want to hear my conspiracy theory, Fulton was brought in as a measure to keep the vast majority of our youngsters, as he has a great relationship with Tartak. Tartak subsequently manages a number of our gun juniors, namely the cream of the crop from our undefeated Matts side from '22 (Da Silva, the Laulili'i's, William Craig, Miller, Galvin and a few others).
Fulton being brought in was a measure to keep Tartak onside and to ensure we don't lose any of the kids. the Fainu's are merely a bonus, as is Haumole if the rumours are to be believed. this appointment was made to ensure that we maintain our mantra of being a 'development club' irrespective of how much of an issue it was going to be with Marshall, Sheens and McDonnell.
now while Fulton has a number of very good relationships with a stack of managers in the league, the press, north-west Sydney and a number of players, it reeks of Joe Webhe / Isaac Moses circa-2016.
you can look at it from two ways. one is that Hagipantelis, the board and Pascoe have managed to be proactive to ensure that we retain our gems. the other is that they have succumbed to player manager pressure and have created considerable internal conflict. you decide.
I, like many on here, share your pain!.Mate I think I’m that done with this club that the only thing left now is finding the comedy in it. There is real pain in the jokes 😉
I agree, you are almost making me feel sorry for the Eagles! That’s really bad .. 6 Tigers in the Bald Eagles line up .. Pasaki, Aloiai, Tuilagi, Woods, Brooks, and Talau.
Count me in that shout 🍺Mate your posts crack me up....I reckon you'd be fun to have a beer with
I really don't think this is to appease Tartak.if you want to hear my conspiracy theory, Fulton was brought in as a measure to keep the vast majority of our youngsters, as he has a great relationship with Tartak. aww gawdWhat are these Olakau'atu rumours?
I really don't think this is to appease Tartak.
The board needed someone who would put the Board first over Sheens.
McDonnell, I doubt would knife Sheens as Sheens got him back. We may have to consider letting Sheens go as with a side far greater then any Madge had, were 17th. It's unacceptable
Fulton gives the board options and gives the board access to the Manly/North shore talent pool.
Conflict is OK! Conflict is fine. Shulster is the perfect example, Fulton was in favour, Benji against. They work though the differences and say no.
Far out Tigers, stop being inbred.
Sheens,
Marshall,
Farah,
Chris Heighington I believe too is with our team.
The only guy outside the club running around is Dave Furner. We cannot keep turning inward like this. We need new ideas and new people to bring these ideas. The board made the right call and snatched a person from outside.
Manly will implode under Siebold soon. We are in a decent position.
What are these Olakau'atu rumours?
Bad for them Not a one really any good. That’s really bad .. 6 Tigers in the Bald Eagles line up .. Pasaki, Aloiai, Tuilagi, Woods, Brooks, and Talau.
