Wouldn’t Dragons be keen on Luai as well. With Amone behind bars and Hunt looking every which way but there. Surely they’d want to be in the market?I hope we don't try to match the $4.5 million 4 year package for AFB that St George has offered.
The 1.2 is a testing analysis for fitness its standardised across the NRL. Galvin did it in 4 minutes 15 seconds which is mind blowing, he beat the previous best at the Tigers by over 10 seconds. To put it into context Dylan Edwards completes the 1.2 in 4.08 which is the best in the NRL.1.2 Bronco record? Care to elaborate??
Correction - GONE!!I guess with Lee going we all get the chance to up our money and make up the $1M.
Re the Holman group review and outcome, you must be very pleased. Maybe people power had more clout than I gave it credit for, congrats to you and all involved. Can backfire though, I player who has a really good second year is now worth more and he can also back out.
This is fricking hilarious!!Just listened to the Chairman's segment on SEN via the podcast https://www.sen.com.au/programs/breakfast-with-vossy-and-brandy/
A couple of interesting things at the 10:40 mark ...
He basically confirms Blore to Melbourne in '25 however expects a big season from him for us in '24. And that Olam is likely off the table now.
And very interestingly when talking about our recruitment team, says Benji & Justin Pascoe (no mention of Scott Fulton).
So either Fulton is on the outer, only looks after recruitment of our lower levels now or Lee is becoming forgetful.
He's a moron - and that answer itself justifies his removal from the Board!Hagi: WTs '24 Judged not on Ws + Ls but by effort
Then says he is certain we'll win more than lose...is he a gambling man?
Did you notice? Still Balmain Wests. Cancer still lives on.Don't miss out on the headlines from Tigers. Followed categories will be added to My News.

The much-maligned Wests Tigers have undertaken the most significant overhaul in their chequered history after placing the future of the club in the hands of a new chair and chief executive.
This masthead can reveal that Tigers shareholders have agreed to sweeping changes following an independent review into the club’s governance.
Chair Lee Hagipantelis and chief executive Justin Pascoe will both depart as part of the re-structure, which was officially endorsed by the shareholders of the club on Monday night.
This masthead understands Pascoe tendered his resignation on Tuesday.
The Tigers’ new leadership structure will be headed up in an interim capacity by former NSW premier Barry O’Farrell and ex-South Sydney chief executive Shane Richardson.

The Tigers had a meeting of the football club board scheduled for Tuesday night but it is understood it has been delayed by 24 hours to complete legal documents and allow the club to get its new leadership structure in place.
Remarkably, it is understood the Holman Barnes Group directors on the Tigers board have ratified their own demise, voting in favour of the changes that have effectively blown up the club’s leadership structure.
O’Farrell will return for his second stint as chair albeit in an interim capacity - he was appointed to the role four years ago but departed after less than 12 months due to other commitments.
Is dismissing the entire Wests Tigers board the best move for the club?

Hagipantelis, who is also the Tigers’ major sponsor, has been at the helm of the club for four years but had no say in his future given power to make change resides with the club’s shareholders - the Holman Barnes Group, Wests and Balmain.
The mass changes are the result of an independent review that was ordered by the Holman Barnes Group and undertaken by former NRL chief financial officer Tony Crawford and Gary Barnier, the managing director of Benchmarking Matters and Cooperage Capital.
The Tigers confirmed that the board had been reduced from seven members to four during a transition period. The new board will be made up of O’Farrell and a representative of each of the three Wests Tigers shareholders – Dave Gilbert for Holman Barnes, Danny Stapleton for Balmain and a nomination from the Wests Magpies.

The changes are subject to legal approvals. O’Farrell and Richardson will begin their roles in the new year.
Holman Barnes chair Tony Andreacchio said the appointments would give the Wests Tigers the strong and experienced leadership that the club needed at this time.
“We are determined to be successful for our members and fans and that process begins in the front office,” he said.
Andreacchio thanked Hagipantelis and Pascoe for their dedication and hard work for the Wests Tigers.
“Lee and Justin faced enormous challenges, but they have left a legacy which gives us a strong base for the future,” he said.
“In particular, they leave us with a world class Centre of Excellence and the club is in a stronger financial position because of the relationships they established with sponsors and other supporters.”

Andreacchio said Holman Barnes believed it was important to move quickly to accept the key recommendation to appoint a new leadership team without delay.
“But one thing is clear – this club is determined to provide the leadership required to be successful in the NRL.”
Danny Stapleton, chair of Balmain, said it was significant that all shareholders were united in supporting the changes.
“We all share one goal – to see the Wests Tigers again become a real force in the NRL on and off the field,” he said.
Dennis Burgess, Wests Magpies chairman, said the club fully endorsed the review’s recommendations because they will be key to the Wests Tigers’ future success.
