If we get Boyle, Watson and Brenton Lawerence I would be happy to close the bus door then prepare for 2018\. Once we are out of finals contention I would rest Teddy, Ava and Woods and give J J Feliese and any other potential NRL players a run and advise them they are playing for a contact.

Since we're talking about cheating bastards, gotta mention the Broncos.

Before the 2017 seasons started Knights offered Korbin Sims $400k for 2017, already paying him $90k for that season in fact.
Then he signed and left for the 2017 season to the Broncos, on a second tier contract of only $85k. Taking a paycut of over 75%. Officially. If you believe that.

Like in 2010 when Lockyer was reportedly on a figure of $250k.

Or when questions of salary cap breaches came up and Andrew Gee stepped down and suddenly case closed.

Is Roberts sill unsigned? A Courier Mail article suggesting even the Broncos dollars aren't sufficient to keep him. Suggestions on other forum that Manly and the Dogs are chasing him.

Dogs surely don't have the bucks to get Roberts, especially from Brisbane.
If they find the money, they would have to offload a few forwards.

He would be alright at Manly.

Newcastle will offer him a deal.
I think Cronulla should go after him for a replacement for Jack Bird.
He would be a good fit for Penrith but they might be having Cap Problems.

I don't think we need him but a player of that speed can never be too bad

Cronulla replaced Bird with Dugan, Manly don't really need backs atm, Dog's and Penrith def have cap issues and no one really wants to go to Newcastle do they?

I agree we have large cap space and glaring deficiencies in the back row and prop depth. Cleary must have something up his sleeve. We still need a top class winger. I don't think Fonua is a good enough starting option and Ferguson is a machine. Terrible centre but great winger.
Rona would also be good but I wouldn't wait if we could get Ferguson.

i think u are sell fonua, a little short, i think he will prove to be a great buy. but where u are right is we need forwards, one prop and 2 back rowers would settle for one , but we need big brutes, or all these signings are for nothing.
