The answer to the question is Greenberg the worlds best at complete inconsistency. He can give a glowing reference to a man who is guilty of speeding and drunk driving at a court hearing and turn his back on others

Politics at its best

Can you show me where the NRL have said Musgrove’s contract is not registered…?

I've had a quick search , but can't find the article. It has been mentioned a few times in a few different media articles, so that is what I was basing that off of.

https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/tigers/wests-tigers-recruit-zane-musgrove-has-pleaded-not-guilty-to-indecent-assault-charges/news-story/fdda5a211178e2a4c438d2add03cdc35

This article from a month ago states that Musgrove's contract with us was not yet registered by the NRL. I've heard nothing since then to say that it has been.

Almost like a coach can have different play styles to suit the cattle he has 😱pen_mouth:

That the claim has not been retracted is normally a reasonable indicator that it is fact, though I would not bet my house on it and to draw a long bow, it could also be a reason that the Jennings signing was allowed.

To your earlier post, whilst I am happy enough if the NRL have indeed held off in registering Musgrove, his charges pale in significance to those of DeBelin, whom as it stands is getting off scot free. It stinks.

Not sure you can say DeBelin gets off scott free - if he is foud guilty he will spend a lot of years in gaol that isn't getting off. At this stage one is the accuser and one is the accused thier is nothing to stand him down for

Sharks may have to offload one of Bukuya, Brailey or Capewell. I wouldn't mind us having a go at signing Capewell in the case Musgrove's contract is rejected.

You want to replace Musgrove with a 2nd rower? We already have way too many 2nd rowers as it is. If Musgrove is gone then we need a front rower.

Capewell was very close to signing with the Tiges last season, he is a very good utiliy. I would see him as more of a centre than a backrower for us.

It was just one example chosen from several articles, all from different sources, that said the same thing. No need for the smartarse comment.

Guess we will see if he is named for the NRL trial v the Warriors which I think he may well be…maybe you can play those tho without a registered contract

I have no idea if he could play unregistered in a trial but surely there would be issues regarding insurance if he was injured or another player was injured in a tackle with him.

Tariq Sims played a trial match while under suspension, so the NRL might just make up the rules as they go which wouldn’t surprise anyone.

Did Tariq still have a registered NRL contract whilst under suspension..?

Suspended players are allowed to play trials our very own Luke Brooks did in 2017 and was suspended for Round 1 that year for an incident that occurred Rd 26 2016..
