Easts know LM better then anyone but made little effort to retain him.This shows that LM is a very risky signing.He was carrying extra weight last year and not at the fitness level expected of a dedicated athlete.I am happy the Tigers don,t carry his burden this year.

AD from souths would be great for us. You only have a small window of opportunity in the NRL and you can't sit back and wait for LM to fail. AD would be stupid if he chose to play understudy for LM. The 2nd year option for Souths regarding LM is a farce and the only way the NRL could turn a blind eye to the dodgy deal. LM will be at souths for at least the next 4 years.

I don't think LM will necessarily push Douehi out - I think LM will be playing fullback till Wayne is happy enough with his fitness to play there. Just my opinion, he won't start the season there. LM in his current state is far from being able to play fullback.

You would think managers with fast backs on their books who are undervalued would be kicking down the door at WTs to get a slice of the action. Maybe this is happening and it is being kept quiet. If it is not happening you have to wonder why?

We are getting pretty desperate. Seems our only options are

Internal promotion
Convince another club to release

I know there wasn’t a lot of movement this year, but it is a very poor result

It is but what can you do. Let's see how next season plays out. A lot will change over the course of next season.

Based on this years recruiting what makes you think we will be able to sign top quality players next year, the club had plenty of money to spend this off season

Yah I mean I'd never, but there's no need for Pascoe to respond to it. Of course he won't drop anything that way, but he didn't need to almost shut it down completely for this week.

Douehi has strong ties to the Tigers. Was a junior, still lives in the area and is good mates with a lot of their team. He often posts stuff with those guys.
Will be a big battle to keep him.
