I agree with many here that Momirovski is solid and certainly won’t let you down but if he is in the best 17 we really are lacking quality

Lacking...Why?

Who are the 16 poor players?

exept he cant defend we can do better and cheaper for both wingers

A cheaper winger won’t start your sets on the front foot, make 150mtrs a game, score the tries he scores.

He will win you more games than lose.

He also is a center not a winger.

There so many complaints during games from forum members that WTs do not play smartly. Momirovski is a savvy footballer who contributes to winning games because he makes good on-field decisions. Doueihi is another savvy footballer. We need more of these types in our team.

I'd have Reuben Garrick everyday over Nofa on the right wing. He is very much faster, defends well, scores tries and will kick you to victory as well as costing less. Garrick also is a savvy player.

Momirovski got named in the team last week and Seve took his spot last second hopefully that doesn’t happen this week

Unless Bellamy moves Jarome Hughes into the centres I can’t see Ryley Jacks or Max King usurping Momirovski to start at centre.

Roar League on John Bateman still out injured and apparently doesn't wants to leave the Raiders but is agitating for more money it seems no coincidence that the Raiders are struggling big time this year without him their saying Dogs and Dragons are looking at $800k a season for him from hes for last year I think WTS should go in hard to get him away from the Raiders

For 800k ? Really ? Do you think that’s wise money for an undersized backrower. Personally I feel no backrower, not named Fifita,(even Kikau) can influence a game enough to take up 9% of your salary cap .
I think he’s a great player , but for 600k odd.

Naaah!
No more high price long term players please.

Is he a walk up start for the tigers ? I will say he’s the tall target we have craved since tuqiri left .

How many releases can dragons deny him? Third one next week apparently

Do you really want someone who wants a release cause it's too far to travel..

Chris Heighnington use to come from the Central Coast as a young bloke ...just to get a shot..

Not really a good attitude that Maguire would be looking for..

As long as he works hard at training and on the field it’s no issue. Probably an excuse to leave cause dragons suck

Souths will have Murray and Arrow on $800k next year, plus Mitchell on $800k, Gagai and Walker on $700k, throw in Reynolds, Roberts and Cook on big dollars, yet they have no cap issues

Like Momirovski. He will be that 17th 18th man you can always rely on. Like Brendan Elliot at Manly.

This is spot on and the point i was trying to make. Momirovski is a first grader, there is no denying that. Definitely a quality back up or depth player and will do the job if required. However, he is not a centre in a premiership winning team (unless the rest of the backline is littered with rep players).

We all understand that the team right now is not a premiership winning team but that is what Madge is building towards. These are the higher standards Madge expects and we should all come to expect in the future.

The recent focus in recruitment shows this initiative. We can't sign those types of players rep players right now, which is why we are signing young guys with the potential to be rep players (Twal, Stefano, Doueihi, Talau and Blore) and focusing on building a team of rep players rather than buying a team of rep players.

On Saab, looking like he will be at the dogs IF released but it is really up in the air. Major cash being thrown at a some players by them.

On another note, most Sydney clubs have been in discussions to resume playing informal (non-Canterbury Cup) reserve grade games against one another to keep players fit. Will need clearance from the NRL.
