Just watching big league wrap on fox , there saying we look like signing Kevin Procter , only thing holding it up is we need to move someone on .

Hope not. This is a Cleary when he was here type signing.

Yeah total waste of money, Proctor is so NOT what we need. I can’t really see the sense in Madge going after him.

I think we go for him, my only concern, as mentioned is his defence. Can he pull of the one on ones like Tedesco or Turbo? He has the pace to get in position I just don’t know about the technique....

If your fullback is constantly put in a position to make one on one tackles I think you are doing it wrong..

Tedesco is not a great defender one on one but what he does do extremely well which all his coaches attest to is organise the defensive line from the back..count numbers etc etc

That is a major role of the fullback in defense..I feel that manufactured one's struggle with that aspect of the game..

Seems sideways to me. 30+ year old, non impact player. Maybe a slight upgrade on Rowdy, but seems to have a bit of a Chris McQueen signing vibe, albeit Kevs isn’t broken like CMQ.

Bottom line for me is that Proctor is a meat and potatoes kind of player which isn’t necessarily bad but I’m keen for someone that can emulate a succulent Chinese meal

Kudos for the reference to a succulent Chinese meal.

Not gonna lie, I’m warming up to Doueihi as our fullback... he’s only 22 and seems to be improving in the short period of time he’s been at the club and on 3 on 2 situations always seems to make the right choice with a very good passing game, while also being very safe under the high ball and running 200 meters on occasions, only thing he lacks is a bit of explosiveness and X factor but brining in a Josh Addo-Carr eliminates the need for that in our backline - hence the need for some pace in our team and why we really should prioritise JAC this off season

Doueihi reminds me of a young Darius Boyd, minus the flogness but....

I don't want Addo-Carr at fullback, because if we play Douhei at 6 that means Brooks is our halfback.
We all know that Brooks isn't a halfback and i for one want to see him more at 6.
I also think Douhei is doing a pretty handy job at the back i rate him there.
