The Latrell defence wasn't that bad - no one was hurt. I wonder how that will go with other offenders.

Have Nofoaluma and Garner been called in to explain their roles in the incidents? I mean if they hadn't placed their head and face respectively where they could be hit with the forearm and boot this wouldn't be an issue and Latrell could prepare for the big game.

The word thug is a race baiting term. If you don't mean anything racial by it just don't use it. Simple. You can google as much information on the subject as you want te educate yourself. The connotation is what it is and if you don't want to come across racially insensitive just don't use the term. There is no need to come out swinging when someone merely attempts to clue you in that the term has racial connotation.

I would have thought on a forum where people get banned for mild swears that this sentiment would get more support. Particularly given we support a club that is branding itself as inclusive to indigenous people.

I see a lot of these bullies doing well in the NRL.. I hate using the word soft but it sucks that someone like Mitchell can feel he can get away with doing something like that.

I feel for Noffa and Garner in the way that they took the shot but their teammates did nothing about it. I remember last year Brooks took on Gagai- Brooks isn't usually agressive so the guy must have been niggling on him for a while. Leilua or his centres at the time should've taken care of him.

We're still timid with an inferiority complex. Too focussed on being the nice guys who play fair..

Don't care what happens to Latrell, the lawyers will put up an argument with numerous others who have been let go for similar discretions.
