Talau

Did he have any support? Or was it only Roosters players that managed to turn around despite running the other way and reel him in? It's a genuine question as i only got a quick glimpse.

You take an intercept and you probably have 15-20 metre break on any other player in your side

No one was a chance of getting in a supporting position of Talau

Funny though ..I mentioned he hadn't made a break all season and he ends up on two 50 metre plus runs

Lets try this

I haven't seen Brooks Marshall Douehi BJ Nofa Mbye or Talau make a break all season

I saw Nofo catch a drop out on half way and score a TRY against the Sharpies..

Talau isn’t lightening, but think he had a hamstring injury that he was managing- might of affected him.

Seen props run faster than him , he’s just another average player .

You can’t be talking about WT props? ?
I think Tommy was momentarily gassed? Lactic acidosis?

Nup. He just isn’t that fast. Good player but.

100 metre speed is overrated. How often do players get into the clear and need to go 100 in a straight line?

However it would be good if we had players working hard enough to provide support when those runs happen. This is less about speed and more about instinct and will.

His speed is fine for backs
Not every back is gonna run 100m and score without getting run down.
I distinctly remember tedesco getting run down time and time again

He is an edge back rower people, played all his juniors up until Harold Matt’s in the back row, his father moved him to the halves in th junior reps at Canterbury. He s actually quite a good backrower with a little bit of skill, interesting to see where he ends up because the storm tried to buy him before he came to us, I know for a fact they saw him as a back row prospect

It’s a deadset pandemic this centre/backrower obsession.

Thank you someone finally said it

Then why Play him in the backs and create another masters who thinks his a back hopefully his back days are over but these clowns probably still see him as a centre

Should of replaced Chee Kam on the bench. But he is doing a job at Wing, club tried to change him from a 5/8, Lock when we recruited him last year to a centre.
Played two games in the centres...

Watch at 3 minute mark from the kick off. Demonstrates more than enough pace for a centre. A strong runner with a good turn of pace and JAC outside of him and being an ex Aust Schools 5/8 he has ball skills.

So does Wade Graham.

Just watched a replay of it. B Moz barely gained a step on Tommy in those 60M.

His long strides and thicc thighs make him look slower than reality.

Plenty of harsh judges on here regarding a kid who's got a lot of development ahead of him
