As reported in the paper, the club was extremely unimpressed when they had a meeting with him, so much so that it completely turned them off signing him.

Sign him after rehab and time away is so much better public image for the club then our old management that would have already signed him.

I hope we do sign him , he will not be a huge cost , will know he can’t stuff up , but will add to us later in the season or next season , it’s a position we need to add and on his day he is a s good as any top centres , rehab if the stories are true will assist him and you don’t need to be in rehab for long periods , sometimes a 6 week stint will be enough to clear the mind and get back on track , I think he has been doing rehab for about a month so it may be in the next few weeks the club will check up on his outcome and make a call
