Lets not forget those midfield bombs Bunji puts up into the stratosphere but only travel about 10-15 metres forward. :unamused:

Yep, tried a few of them last night for NZ too.

Mine. Personally Sheens needs a makeover. I know there is basically all the halves injured (except Tomato, Benj and Lazzo) but it's not like 2006\. Lui'll be back next week, and if not, shove Tomato in there. Mullaney has got to get in there somewhere. Shove him in a Blake Lazarus position (fullback/half) and give him some decent minutes. Beau is an awesome fullback, but not a very creative one. GET RID OF DANIEL FITZHENRY! This bloke continues to get picked, and does nothing except cost us errors and missed tackles. Put Mitch Brown back on the wing, and put Junior Moors back on the bench. This guy is a tank! Give him some more game time. Anyway…

Isn't 22 players a FEW MORE THAN YOU ARE ALLOWED?

With rumours Lui will be good, I'd say we only need two changes.

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford
5\. Fitzhenry
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Payten
13\. Heighington
14\. Fulton
15\. Flanagan
16\. A Fafita
17\. Gower

We MUST go into this match with 4 forwards, including 2 Props.

1\. Tuqiri
2\. Ryan
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford
5\. Josh Davis
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Fulton
13\. Heighington

14\. Payten
15\. Flanagan
16\. A Fafita
17\. Waters

I've never seen Davis play, but i like the look of that side.

It's time Sheens bit the bullet with either Tuqiri or Mullaney at fullback IMO. Ryan has been doing well, but he doesn't offer us any options in attack.

I'd be a bit hesitant to move Lote from the wing, which means Mullaney could get a crack. Look at Penrith and the Raiders. They threw their young gun fullbacks into the NRL last year or the year before and now both are rep players. No reason why Jake couldn't do the same. Get him to talk to Coote and ask how he put 9kgs on… genius move.

i'll give you an inside tip.. davis will never play first grade on the wing….

1\. Ryan - Lote to switch it up to add flair in attach on kick returns
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford - always hard to put down and needs a good fast winger outside
5\. Daniela
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Fulton - Back if needed
13\. Heighington

14\. Moors
15\. Flanagan - Back res if needed
16\. A Fafita
17\. Payten

Fitzhenrymust be droppped - is not a great defender -offers ittle in attack (dummy half scoots are good) and twice against the Roosters he failed to give it wide on a counter attack with numbers. Ayshford does not trust him on the outside.

I think its a given Fitzy will be in the team, so for the best possible outcome, Id say put him on the Wing instead of the bench. We need 4 Forwards against Souths with Fulton acting as a Utility if needed. Must have 2 Props also on the bench and Gower looks the best at this stage with Al Schirnack still injured:

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford
5\. Fitzhenry (raahhh)
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Payten
13\. Heighington
14\. Fulton
15\. Flanagan
16\. A Fifita
17\. Gower

With word Lui is ok to play….

1\. Ryan (Musn't be moved! Makes plenty of meters every game)
2\. Lote (Dominated the position and we need him there... without Lote on a wing, we'll struggle to put on points outwide)
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Brown / Daniella / Pritchard
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Payten
9\. Farah (Needs to stay at dummy half! Forget first reciever, it's complicating our game too much)
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Heighno
13\. Fulton

14\. Fafita
15\. Flanagan
16\. Gibbs (Come on after 20 mins and stays on for the rest of the game... against a tiring pack he goes better imo...)
17\. Moors / Mataka or Tuamata (if we must have a back on the bench)

After watching the State Cup clash ,and thinking that AJ is still a week or 2 away, and hearing that Robert Lui will be fit , I will now go with the following team.

1.Beau Ryan…...still ran 181m...he will bounce back from that bomb
2\. Lote Tuqiri....growing with every game, and will be out to cement the Qld's jumper
3\. Blake Ayshford...needs a rocket sent up him this week, to fire up
4\. Chris Lawrence....run faster and harder son
5\. Sean Meaney ( Goalkicker & very safe hands....Benji can't even kick 50% at training...please take those duties off him)...and watching him last Saturday confirmed it again for me.

6\. Benji Marshall....please practice practice practice your general kicking game , now that Meaney will take the conversion worries off your sweet head
7\. Robert Lui.....if he gets injured again , throw Farah back at 1/2 and Fulton to hooker.

8\. Bryce Gibbs....had a much better safe game yesterday...kept it simple
9\. Liam Fulton ...his best game, and keep the ruck as tight as a duck's backside
10\. Keith Gallaway....getting better, will be our best forward against Soths
11\. Todd Payten......the forwards are better with him there
12\. Gareth Ellis.......Hope he ends his career with us
13\. Chris Heighington...in career form...Folkes has done a great number on his game

Interchange:
14\. Arana Tamauta....hopefully our X Factor...hopefully rip up Campbelltown next Saturday as a warm up ti first grade
15\. Andrew Fifita.....one word...destructive
16\. Mark Flanagan...had a great defensive game yesterday
17\. Junior Moors...only because he is in our top 25, otherwise a State Cup forward , I would have been picked

Um… I think you are missing one very very important player. A little bloke, but punches well above his weight. Used to like Kebabs!!!

Yeah , I know , but Somehow I can't edit it properly. .Tiger Watto
what I wanted to do is Farah back to 9
Fulton in the starting second row#11, with Todd Payten in at 8, and Bryce back on the bench at #16 , with Arana out and Flanagan covering centres & back up forward .
No security blanket back on the bench for Sheens, as this Souths game must be won by getting over the Souths forwards and defence …let's just hope the WT team hold on the ball , so for the first game since Parramatta game the team makes less tackles than their opposition.

Might be even inclined to give David Gower another go , instead of Jumior Moors, but Sheens won't give last years Stare Cup player of the year, another chance. Other than that 1 token 15 minute opportunity to show his wares....no wonder the bloke seems not to be playing with the same intensity as last year

I'm flying down this weekend, so lets hope you are right. Go The Tigers!!! :sign:

Great Stuff mate, just hope the WT team rewards you with a gret convincing win , for the effort from coming down from sunny Qld .
Pity that the SCG , IMO, is such a crappy ground to watch league at.
A packed to the rafters Leichhardt against Souths on a sunny May Sunday….well we can all just dream on , when that will happen friggin again
