Rooster man in terms of your club my wife has worked with Brian Carnavon Freddy filter and the board and has the utmost respect for the Roosters her words were it is one of the most professional clubs she has worked with.

In terms of contract negotiations your players are loaded up on TPA agreements , let me tell I know this it's how all the wealthy clubs do it,

The NRL are looking into this and if it can be policed properly it will be clubs like yours with no Junior base to draw from will die a slow death if a level playing field ever becomes a reality.

This is were the NRL need to step in and take some leadership.

If James was to leave and I hope it is not the case, the Tigers his current club should be able to go to the NRL and say we offered him $550,000 per year. The NRL should then not allow him to go into his new teams salary cap at a figure less than this. If the new club tries to put them in the cap at a lower amount and top it up with TPA, the NRL should refuse to register the contract.

Thats a fantastic suggestion!

Well if this ends up being true I will be mighty pissed off…

What will we do then? I'm assuming if we didn't have the money to keep Teddy then we won't have it to sign anyone else decent anyway, so maybe Nofoaluma to fullback?

ummmm at 10:00 in he said he supported "the red white and blue and that he was a roosters fan and loved fittler" nice one lol

He was not a Bulldogs fan , he was a Roosters fan growing up :brick:

Every indication so far has been him leaving. The only things people have been clinging onto is his loyalty to the club by repaying them for sticking with him through his knee injury (which is bs) and his combo with Brooks (which i've used myself). Its just emotional bias that people are relying on. If you use your head you can come to no other conclusion than he's a goner.

i love that he linked me with video evidence that he was wrong lol

Not sure how crazy this sounds but everyone says NRL is a business so if we bought tedesco at x amount of money and now were apparently selling him for x+y amount of money- what benefit do we get since we got his money up by $y?

For eg you buy shares at $1 and sell it at $3.50- you get the profits. So since everyone is saying NRL is a only a business shouldn't we get that $2.50 somehow?

It's not premier league soccer, payments go direct to players, not clubs.

Some positive comments on the Roast from Tim Gilbert and James Hooper. Saying the Tigers are looking to fast track the negotiations and get it sorted asap. Also said the Roosters have a fullback in the 20s they have big plans for.

That is Jackson Hastings, the son of a club legend, they signed him from Saints and he is talented. I mentioned it earlier that they have Hastings and had big plans for him.

I'm having a feeling this could just be some big bluff for Nofoaluma. Hope I'm wrong and both sign really quickly.

I think i'm prepared to sacrifice Nofo if it means keeping Tedesco.

Nofoaluma would be the player that would make more sense for them to target. Especially if RTS is gonna play fb next yr they're gonna be looking for a winger. If we were to lose him it would suck, but at the end of the day he's just a winger. Won't be the loss Tedesco would be.
