Maybe he's signed it but they haven't gone public yet?
I don't care so much about the general public but I believe that Wests Tigers Management owe it to their fans to tell them immediately;
1.What is happening with the Tedesco signing? and
2\. What is the situation with the Salary Cap.
The manner in which Wests Tigers Management is handling the above two issues is totally unprofessional and disrespectful to WT fans. This is attested by the 63 pages of concerns from over 1200 posts associated with this subject matter. Management's weak negotiation practices is highlighted by the case of Benji's Marshall's transfer to Dragons where the asking transfer price has been reduced from a lump sum of $200k to three instalments of $50K. Why can't a great club like Dragons pay a $200k transfer in lump sum instead of instalments over who knows a long period?

I for one, am over all this speculation and innuendo concerning Tedesco’s next contract!!. and by reading on it is very apparent how I feel.
Teddy is a player of great promise. He has been an NRL player since 2012 when he made his debut against Cronulla in round 1.
Since his debut in 2012, he has spent 14 months (12+2) on the sideline injured. He has played around 25 games out of a possible 65 games…That’s less than 50% availability.
Teddy started 2014 in a blaze of glory in the 9’s and the NRL during the first 5 rounds. Then bang he gets injured again and is out for the next 8/9 weeks.
During this injury riddled period the WT have no doubt been very supportive of James.
We all know Tedesco is off contract at the end of 2014 and since the matter became headlines James has been linked to the Bulldogs, Roosters and now the Raiders.
Tedesco has stated he wants to remain a Tiger. Mayer has made it clear the WT want to sign James long term, his peers have openly stated they want to play alongside Teddy...I then fail to understand why a contract has not been signed!!.
The papers are reporting Teddy and his Manager want $500k per season.
If this is true, I ask Teddy on what grounds does he justify commanding this amount?..seasoned players in the team such as Anasta, Galloway, Fulton, Richards, Thompson and even Lawrence are NOT on $500k per year contract, yet they are long standing players in the NRL who have an established career. Of the up and comers(which teddy is one of them) in the team Simona, Nofo, Brooks and Mosses, Sirro I am almost certain none of them would be on $500k p.a. contracts...Sirro and Brooks maybe the high 3’s or low 4’s...
I am sure Mayer has offered Teddy a long term, very competitively priced contract, which has obviously been rejected!.
Tedesco is a player of great potential, not proven ability or achievements. The reality is Tedesco is not a $500k p.a. player!...The biggest question mark on Tedesco is how robust he is...and I’m sure that question hangs over the Mayer & the WT in their offer.
Tedesco and his Manager should end this innuendo and speculation right now and announce their intentions!...the fans, club, WT players and sponsors of the WT deserve better from Ayoub and Tedesco..!!!!. get over it Teddy and Ayoub! 62 page threads should be enough for your egos!....make your decision!! or Mayer should make a public statement on where the WT are at with him...we all want to move on!
@NT Tiger said:I'm outraged!!!!! I mean, how many weeks has this gone on for?? How dare James consider offers from other clubs? The young upstart. I'm a long-standing Tigers supporter and he hasn't even considered my feelings about this. He hasn't phoned me once to ask my opinion. $500,000???
What a pack of vultures!
Let the poor bloke consider his future and sign a contract in his best interest.

Since when does any club come out and publicly comment on contract negotiations?
How do we know the club isn't trying to offload a player or 2 before they can offer a final contract and Tedesco is prepared to wait, hence the hold up?
It seems a lot of assumptions are being made based on very little evidence.
