Jeeez Louise, weve just go the best possible outcome yet so many still want to argue.
Is there any possible single scenario where we are happy at all?
So glad he's stayed as he's abig part of the puzzle.

I am amazed he has decided to stay. It was massive coin.

Let no real tiger fan ever complain about membership prices, ticket prices or jersey prices again. We complain about $100 or $200…

Teddy gave up over $500,000 over the equiv. of a 4 year period. He has basically given $500,000 of playing value to the club.

It's a wake up call to all of those asking Teddy to be loyal who aren't Gold or higher level members.

People's criticism was based on a perceived lack of loyalty after the club supported him through his injuries and the lack of class in his comments post signing with Canberra. This is reasonable under the circumstances. Those people are entitled to now support his decision as he is staying for the reasons that fair minded supporters thought was reasonable to begin with. No shame there….

As for Canberra I sympathise with them. He didn't rush a decision, visited there and was informed of what was expected when he signed. They will continue to struggle to attract name players like we have and need to concentrate on signing, and more important for them, retaining juniors and grabbing the odd "experienced" player at the end of their career to support the younger players. We took a risk on Prince and it worked. They took one on Monaghan and it didn't. We took a risk on nick graham it failed. They took one on Brett White and it worked (mildly).

I was disappointed when he left but was glad it wasn't to a glamour club. I am obviously happy that he has stayed and commend the club on the way they have dealt with the final stages.

Well, well, well. Only three apologies at this stage but the rest of the lynch mob are probably too busy hanging their heads in shame; of course that doesn't include those who are still trying to justify their disgraceful behaviour towards this young man.

anyone that thinks JT stayed because of mates and that alone are kidding themselves.
a generous benefactor has saved the day and helped pump up his contract to a more comparative level (if you could say that) to canberra's.

Source?

I can't help but lol at Canberra, no one wants to go there.

I'd like to thank Mansour, Proctor and Ennis for knocking back going there, all that probably helped with the Teddy's final decision.

Wow, what an end to the saga. It appears we have a decent spine all sorted now for a few years.

The only apology should be from Teddy to all of us for giving us a heart attack.

Again awesome news…....Im sure every tiger fan who was angry with him will welcome him back with open arms.

I actually jumped up and down when i heard this!!!

The downside to Teddy 's backflip will be the salary cap strain. My guess they will start shopping a few players around and most other contract renewals will be under pressure. Although whatever pain it causes will be worth it in the long run

Just putting it out there (thinking out loud ) , but wondering if a few senior players might have been prepared to take a pay cut to keep Tedesco ??

Any chance we can enjoy the fact that our top shelf FB has come back to us without getting all negative and worried??

Sheesh we should be doing somersaults!!!!!

Mayer stressed the point to the Raiders that their offer was the exact same as the offer they had put to him prior to his original decision, don't know why your trying to undermine the Tigers, especially considering you're a fan of the club.

At least that guy can name his son James again … That's really the most important thing to come of all this.
