I wouldn't write off Newcastle against the Panthers just quietly.

I would, Panthers 20+. Let's revisit this next Sunday…

Us aside, the Junkies couldn't beat an egg. They might be a force in a couple of years but at the moment they're a bunch of kids getting pantsed week in, week out.

The success we've had the last 2 months, it must be getting harder and harder to twist the fact we actually are a competitive team now. When was the last time we were still in contention for the 8 this late in the yr?

I am not twisting the facts, I am hoping we make the 8, but we need the coach to pick the best team, not just say he is picking the best team, I have picked the tigers the last 2 weeks, a no brainer in the tips.
**But next week we play a decent side, we can't have JT's half baked hooker rotation if we are any hope,**it is pretty simple really, well to most of us it is.

It would appear we can. Look, i know pride can be very hard to swallow, but id at least start to consider the fact i was wrong about this if i were you and our results are justifying JT's decision. You put it out there and said we couldn't beat a decent team. Well we did, yet you haven't stopped complaining about this.

Fairdinkum let it go … Your like a dog with a bone !
Yes we beat the cows , which was awesome !!!
IMO we were lucky Thurston had a shocker !
Even Bradman got a duck !

Luck lol. It must be a pretty hollow feeling to constantly have to make excuses for why your team is winning.

Some really can't stand being reminded about this can they.

It'd be hugely disappointing to miss out from here tbh. So many wasted games early in the season that may yet mean this form is all for nought.

The Newcastle away game, Storm at Leichhardt, Eels at ANZ and the Sharks at Cambelltown.

Our form won't be for nought either. Whether we make it or not, we're going to be top 8 at absolute minimum next yr.

Of course it was a brilliant win. Firstly, I don't think nor expect the team to play that well each week. Hope they surprise me. Secondly, if Moses was tiring towards end of game and it appears could not even perform a one pointer (they targeted him of course) well then that was when we need Robbie, the other weapon with Brooks out. I have thought put RF on the bench for a number of positions, if those other amateurs can do it then so can Robbie.

What you can't get through your thick scull is that the OPINIONS of myself and many on this forum is , is that we beleive that Farah is still our best option at hooker !
And despite what's gone down this year is that Taylor should give Farah a proper fairwell .

I'm sure he'll get a lap of honour at half time against the Raiders in round 26.

I believe those last few wins we had with Farah was our best organised football. Not OTT like last game but we can't expect that intensity every week. With Brooks out Farah needs to do a big genuine public apology and be back in the team. Melodramatic of course but a GF berth is at stake here.

While you are no doubt being facetious, this actually wouldn't be a bad idea from Farah given the way he sunk the boot into the club after his first ISP game. That is a reason he is not in the side atm and fair enough. No club worth their salt would tolerate that level of public insubordination.

But anything Farah related will only risk derailing us so the apology wouldn't even be worth it.

I should have clarified - all for nought in 2016.
We absolutely should be a finals team this season.

If we back up what we did on Sunday for the next 4 weeks, this forum will be bubbling for the entire summer, whether we make the 8 or not.

I agree mate, and I still believe we would be better served with a hooker, be it Farah, Cherrington or who ever, I still believe we could be a better team with less disruptions during the game, and it has nothing to do with pride as some poster likes to get off on.

I can't believe I'm gunna say this and will never again…but Go Souff's...

Season's over regardless.

We had the game of our lives vs the Cowboys but as a side we are poor and have played depleted sides to get us with a sniff.
We rely on individual brilliance like Teddy, Nofo, Moses etc. And hail Mary's at times, instead of building pressure and playing the percentages.

I tend to agree with you in that I don't see us making it from here but the equation is simple: if we win our final 3 games and storm beat panthers, we make the 8\. Easier said than done but because we play warriors and panthers we can take points off them in the run home.

Todays loss is huge though. We're probably around a 15% chance from his point I reckon.
