@TYGA Completely agree. This is a nonsense article. Plenty of teams train up to the GF. Our injury management was excellent this year. I didn't see a lack of fitness, more like a lack of size, hurting us in any of the games this year. Whoever the mole in the camp is can leave as they're not doing anything except lowering tram morale for their own gain.

I guess the Titans, Dragons, Panthers and Cowboys training regime must also be too rigorous considering how poorly they played this season.

I don't really care why he wants to leave. I cheer for our players and don't much like people who don't want to play for us. But, if he did have a valid reason, he should have discussed it like an adult rather than this carry-on through the press.

Cash is King. I don’t blame the kid at all his managers have a long history of this. DCE, Ramien, Valentine Holmes. Everyone in the league world has blasted the behaviour as it’s a bigger issue league wide. Constantly blaming the Tigers is the easy option. Slandering Madge is also low. These matters should be in house the media leaking is a disgrace.

FACT: He wants to leave (training is too hard, wants me to play injured, want more money, don't like the coach, doesn't like the toilet block etc.etc.) doesn't matter what the reason is.

FACT: he is signed for another two years.

We are already seen as a pushover club for many reasons - now one is to be a cry baby like that slimy little .... that went to Parramatta or that Mongrel Cleary. Just say I want to leave and they'll let me go because they don't want someone at the club that doesn't want to be there. No, it is time to draw a line in the sand and stop this rubbish.

Now there are three options as I see it.

1. He has already been told he can look around for another club. Ok. good - he says he found one. Next step, we say and what do we get as compensation? Cash, how much? Player swap, we want player x or player x + y. If the deal is good, we let him go.

2. He stays and plays 100% for us - if he tanks we go to stage 3.

3. Play CC maybe or sit out of the game for 2 years but turning up for training and on game day or you don't get paid.

We have to stop players, the NRL and the RLPA from walking all over us.

Now, if you think I am a cry baby, so be it. If you think I don't know the facts, so be it ---- WHAT I DO KNOW is that he is trying to make a fool of the Wests Tigers.

Are we going to let him - hopefully not.

@ElleryHanley maybe which is why we copy the storm method of refreshing the roster every 2-3 years around a select few elite players.

That way the squad wont burn out if we keep refreshing it with new talent.

Regulated reduction in training is coming, it is what happened in the NFL with strict no contact sessions included. It will happen in the NRl too!

Generally where there's smoke theres fire...grubs mum told me weeks ago the players are filthty about training up till the GF...and Maguires hard nosed attitude....I was constantly hammered on here regarding ivan Cleary....didnt think he was much of a coach....thoughts about Maguire are pretty much the same, yes he won a comp at souths, but gilligan could have coached that team....I then saw him stuff that side

Wow a player runs to his mum and complains about the coach. The mum then complains about the coach to whoever listens. With all this players injuries, he has bleed the club out of 1.5m and this is how he treats the club and fans. Nice of you to tell us what he really seems like. Not really professional from grub...but good of you to mention he is a leak

He's confiding in his mum. Something I'm guessing we've all done at some point in our lives. Pretty unfair to crucify him for that. He's not causing trouble. Its not like he's not leaking stuff to journos like some others have done.
