Mate I have zero problem with him having time off, he has a limited time for a break and he should take it. Im self employed and can have time off whenever I want and if by some twist of fate I was somehow dropped beside a resort pool in the current circumstances, I would have enough self awareness to understand that 99% of the population cant, and a large amount of them are possibly out of work and doing it tough. So no, I have enough self awareness that if I had time off I wouldnt be posting selfies next to a resort pool.

Nofo's lack of self awareness is exactly the same lack of self awareness that seems him bitching about "A & B " defenders when he has been our worst defender for 5 years.

There is no lack of self awareness here at all... but that's your opinion and that's fine. If people don't understand that this guy has been working hard, has stayed away from family for months and is enjoying some time off then it's on them, not on him.

Mate, I said that Nofo had a lack of self awareness based on posting a selfie of himself sitting next to a resort pool during a pandemic when the majority of Australians are locked down, kept away from their family, friends and jobs. I went on to say that he is a poor defender.

This by definition is not "with no reason" or "no facts" and I actually spelled out the reason and facts in my post.

You on the other hand said I was taking "pot shots" at Nofo (I hadnt at taht stage) and my life was miserable. Can you see the difference?

But much like others before him... he's on a bad contract and simply doesn't deliver on the field.

2021 was a year to forget for him.

On his day he’s an NRL quality player. But his inconsistency in effort is very befitting the club he’s playing for. He goes missing against top sides which is in my mind, an indication of his desire. Sadly I see the same in too many of his teammates.

Agree. Us telling several senior members of the team they were free to play elsewhere a long time before their contracts were up has clearly created quite a toxic dynamic. Let’s hope we’re at least past that experience.

I defended Nofo's re-signing at the time, he really put in effort (defensive deficiencies aside), but given his '21 output, I feel let-down. So from that perspective I think the photo is cringe-worthy.
Lets hope he rediscovers his passion, desire and shoulder for next year, and runs head-first like a ram instead sideways like a crab...
