Halatau to start in front row or centres w Sue to join the bench.Potter said post game that Lawrence definitely won't be playing, so his inclusion is just smoke I'd say.

Good god, he's barely up for a bench spot. Yes he's an old favourite but that can't play a role in team selections. On form he isn't in our 17.

And which of our outside backs from the top 25 are injured at present? Nofo. Lawrence. That's it. there must be one of the juniors who replaced Koro in the top 25\. Let them play FFS!

We seem to have an abundance of contracted fullbacks and only 2 wingers and 3 centres in our top 25\. How can that be possible!!

Hoeter would be no chance. Only played 2 games all season and i don't think he finished either of them. If fit then he;d have a chance but injures have finished his chances for this season

Yeah phyr3, he said something like it in the post game interview w ABC radio. Was firm that Lawrence would miss this game.

As for Halatau, I think Patterson would be taking his position if healthy and only reason he's being considered is salary cap constraints. You'd think Akauola would get a look though!

Rowdy's out. 4 weeks. Looks like Bodene in the centres.
 
I wouldn't mind Moltzen at centre if he is fit. Or maybe the wing. Thompson's lack of speed will be worrying especially if he's up against Dugan.
 
Dugan is a right centre he will line up against Simona. Bodene up against Beale won't be too bad, you don't want a lot of traffic his way.

Not sure im up for this . Nothing i saw from Rowe in FG showed me he was courageous.
Too hesitant. might leak more points with Bodene and Halatau combined if either filled the centre role
 
If Rowe did come in they could move Moses to 5/8 Austin to centre. People have been talking Austin up as a centre. I agree Sue should be in the side

I'd be inclined to move Bodene to centre and start Sue in the second row…Rowe is only a couple of weeks back from injury...I guess we'll know more after the State Cup game tomorrow..
 
Moltzen could well be a smokey for the wing. Hes fit it's all about confidence.

We don't lose too much without Lawrence though he did run some good lines last week.

Moltzen would be a liability of epic proportions if he miraculously came into the side. You're right, he's all about confidence, and with no match fitness or a game under his belt in 18 months, he'll have none.
 
As much as many will be unhappy with this the likely selection will be Lulia at centre and Rowe to wing

Unless Hoeter is fully fit ,which I believe he isn't
 
peter mussa was quite coy about both moltzen and hoeter.. said this week or next. i think one of them will make a comeback.
 
Bloody hell,the people who want Thompson or Halatau at centre have no idea,they have been tried many times,and it has never worked.
