I am by no means a Lawrence fan but I think it is a slap in the face for the ceo to public state we have looked at our team and we need 2nd rowers and centres. Why couldn't he just say we are looking to strengthen some positions. We all would have known which ones without having to insult him. Team chemistry is a delicate issue sometimes.

Unless this is the beginning of what will become a tap on the shoulder

Wouldn't have thought it was anymore a slap in the face for Lawrence than it is for Simona, Sirro, Sue, Lovett etc.

Players these days know that they are always under pressure to perform or move on, it won't be a surprise to any of them.

FTR id be making a play for Gagai and Glen, if we signed those 2 we'd be a genuine threat.

Please don't encourage Watto with his Easts Tigers

I no doubt imagine that he hassles Willow and Kul daily to start a Easts Tigers discussion page :brick:

I played for them in under 10's and was a massive fan back in the Martin Bella, Gavin Jones, Brett Le Man, Trevor Patterson, Cavell Huegh days.

Left Brisbane in 1991 but always keep an eye on the comp or watch the odd game when on.

WOW… My Father used to work next door to Brett's family home and we would always play in his backyard when he visited home.

All those boys were my idols, plus Shane McInally (toe poking Prop) coming through. Trevor Patterson was always a naughty boy I tried to model myself on

what do people think of NENE Macdonald from the roosters would be cheap, looking at him think he could make a good centre has great size and speed.

Sometimes you have to do it to drum up interest. Suddenly a player we never knew was available and hates his coach gives his manager a call.

Considering Simona is off contract and Lawrence has a year to go, I doubt Lawry will be too offended.

Centres is where our major problem is.
Happy to target two quality centres for 2016.
I don't see second row an issues as I think we have great talent plus depth in area.
SKD and Fonua would be my choices to allow Seve time to develop before NRL.
Simona is more of a winger

They would of lost to them as well

The biggest chokers of all time Easts were

Wests Panthers however …............

Good game of footy last night between East and The Broncos. All four centre didn't have much of an impact on the game. Compared to the forwards and halves.
SKD did let in a try when he rushed out of the line.
Jennings was quite.
Broncos centres were good defensively, much like the WTs centres have been this year.

I thought all the Centres were brilliant last night… The Broncos & Roosters Forwards went at the Centres all night, and while there was limited 'flashy shit', both teams also made alot of runs/meters through there Centres.

Personally, there wasnt a bad player for both sides last night. Great Team performance from both teams who both deserved Premiership Points for that display!

They were all solid and had to do the hard meters.
When our centres have games like that they get criticism for a lack of spark.

Lawrence has had some poor moments over the last couple of years with dropped balls and poor reads in defence but I don't think he has been as bad as everyone states. This year he has been solid. I think Simona is a great centre.

I think we need to look to replace Richards and just get some more speed out wide. Koro would be a great option.

The only blight on that game was the 'hometown' 10 metres in defence given to the Broncos in the last five or so minutes.
They were **lucky** to be back five metres most times while Easts were marched back the full 10 or more.
Not that I care too much about the Roosters but everyone on here would be spewing if it was us who copped that.

Re; the 10\. It happened to us last week against Parra. Might happen today against NZW. Can't see it happening next week against Canberra at leichhardt oval. The crowd at leichhardt oval patrol the opposition 10 better than any pocket ref.

Souths get that every week, the refs let them do stuff they penalise the other team for doing,it sucks and it ain't fair and it has been happening for them for 2 and half years.

Tyson Frizzell is an absolute beast, big fan of him and he could bring loads to our side at a cheap-ish price if we get in early.
No idea how long he's signed for, but he would be massive.

He does go alright, but he should have been sent off today, gutless refs.
