I tend to agree with you. I think we're all resigned to the fact that 2017 is a write off. Might as well wait and get the best possible squad for 2018.

@ said:Why would they let him shop around with other clubs, then DENY his release.
If anything is going to mess with a players head - that would be it.
Maybe NRL Welfare should investigate that…
@ said:Like I said last week this was now in the warriors hands and they don't want to release him now it seems. Which is strange but ultimately he's contracted to them til end of 2018\. Lolo and his manager agreed to terms (verbally) last Tuesday, but always needed clearance from NZ. I believe if the deal requires lolo to be released for remainder of 2017 to ensure he gets a contract beyond 2018 then they will release him. Just takes time. Warriors might want compensation

So do you think this is a bit of posturing by the Warriors to get a better compo package for Lolo?

Wouldn't mind Lolo but also happy to stuff Mitch around more. **Just don't pick him**.
I reckon he's a certainty to be picked.

I would be telling the warriors don't worry about the release, you can keep him we will look elsewhere it is not worth the effort.
