Unwanted records

My levels of apathy and disgust are at an all time high this year and even though Benji is part of the problem the roots of our disaster stretch back over many years.I hope Richo can fix the massive issues we have as a club before i die (i am 71).Hopefully the 3 new independent board members are appointed soon (not Wests Ashfield stooges like we have now) and positive changes are made both to our roster and get experienced coaching support staff.

Great read, thanks for putting it together. It puts output into perspective. If only it was possible to put into context the intangibles of blooding so many juniors and what changes of direction have occurred in the background. If you were to look at the Dogs from a similar perspective last year you would have a similar, although not as bad, story to tell.

I trust we follow a similar trajectory off the bottom of the table in 25/26

I really hope they can find a bit of even modest success next year to give us a break from the continued lack of enjoyment which comes from watching this team…

Apart from the lack of winning thing..I find now with very rare exceptions , the games are devoid of any real expectations from me that they can compete and win the game ..

The players are in the main doing their best I’m sure … but they just seem to be lacking in some of the most fundamental skills , and a positive mindset… they go through the motions and it always seems to me that the other team always runs and tackles harder for longer periods of the game ..and makes less mistakes

I wish I could be as hopeful that some new board members can lead to this changing … it might but it’s going to take a long time …and a lot of new players …

The year they went beserk with the head high sinbins produced 112 instances. This year will go close to beating that.

Sorry, youre right, it wasnt that year (2021) it was 2018. Last year was the worst.

Been a while since I have worn any of my jerseys or other team merch in public, other than to a game.

Very hard to be proud of this train wreck most of the time, once we could say that at least we have never gotten the spoon, these days we look like setting some sort of a record in that area. :mad:
