Wests Tigers need to settle up with Robbie Farah so the NRL club can settle down

If the Tigers are going to pay Robbie they should get something for their money, so it's the reggies next year.
If he leaves then the Tigers pay whatever the other club doesn't, both ways he gets his money.
It's just whether he ways to play reggies or NRL with another club.

Is pretty simple isn't it. Happens dozens of times every year. They all realise the reality of pro football and move on.

Some will, maybe now some may be realising that they don't have to if they're determined enough

If Robbie was in his mid 20's then for the sake of his Career it's in his best interest to move on instead of languishing in Reserve Grade, but his not far from turning 33 years of age so he might be content just playing out his final year in Reserve Grade.

If he wants a few more years in the NRL somewhere? It's in his best interest to admit defeat and move on cause if he stays and plays Reserve Grade next year? There won't be one Club after his services for 2018.

I'm not convinced. They'll just get put in reserves like Farah and Jennings.
There's only 16 clubs but hundreds of players. They really can't win.

So simple, yet some are still ignorant to the facts. Pretty sure WT would be happy to pay him to sit on his butt if the NRL would give even a little cap exemption if no other club wants him at the set nominal salary cap value.

Look. Farah is all about money. He won't sit in reggies next year, he will go to esl and try to get a 3 year deal.
Ayoub knows this and I'm guessing it's already in the works.

Again money isn't the debate now the decision and next steps will decide Farah's true character and how he wants to end his career.

This has nothing to do with his true character. What a load of palava. It's a personal decision based upon what he gets offered. There is no righteous option that proves Robbie is a man of character.

Each to their own. If someone wants to dig their heels in and play out a successful career in reserve grade this does show that his character is one of stubborness and bitterness rather than one that moves on.

For someone who has given his life to the club its not the right way he should go out but he needs to realise now the club isnt his anymore.

His character often has been ego driven when it comes to the club, its been in his blood since matts/balls/rep days thats what made him so bloody good but his character will be tested on the next chapter of his career. One that defines how he bows out of the game or not.

All players reach their use by date …farahs time is up simple as that .Wests are starting to improve under JT and with a few good signings we will challenge for the title in coming years

We hear this about Robbie a fair bit, and if true it's definitely enough to make a CEO think twice about striking any deals that includes Robbie returning to the club as an employee.
