ROUND 26 - TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT
Tuesday, September 01, 2009
Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has announced his team to play the Bulldogs in the Round 26 match at the Sydney Football Stadium this Friday night.

Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers forward David Gower is set to make his NRL debut on Friday night after being named on the interchange bench. Gower has been impressive for the Tigers in the NSW Cup and also was rewarded with selection in the NSW Residents side earlier this year.

John Morris moves to the half-back role to replace the injured Robert Lui.

Lui has been ruled out with a minor knee ligament strain but is likely to be available to play for the Toyota Cup team in Week One of the semi-finals.

Western Suburbs centre Rhys Pritchard has been named as 18th man for the Bulldogs match.

Dear oh dear oh dear

At least this is his last game

John Morris halfback

Bloody hell.

One last run in the 7 for John.

Sheens is a deadset goose sometimes. We win 5 games in a row with Moltzen at half. He is moved to fullback and we win one against the Sharks, and lose our next two. :deadhorse:

at least this is the last time we will see

7\. John Morris

for the tigers.

Collis & Halatau in the 17

I am starting to believe Tim Sheens is trying to kill my interest in rugby league.

I have this strange stabbing pain…... oh wait, thats me laughing at our coach!!!!!

John Morris - Playing halfback in his last game for Wests.
Dean Collis - Playing Centre in his last game.
Dene Halatau - Playing off the bench in his last game.
Corey Payne - Playing off the bench in (likely) his last game.

Rhys Pritchard - 18th man, has a future with the club.

Logical, no.

omgwtflolbbq

WHAT IS SHEENS DOING?!

IMO he should be blooding as many young guys as possible and not playing the guys leaving the club "just coz it's their last game"

Ayshford should be in the centres where he belongs with Pritchard on the wing.

And Morris at half?! WHAT THE HELL SHEENS.

 Hahahahahahaha, one lose hurrah for the experiment!

Goodbye Johnny Cronk, shine on. :wahoo:

Deadset, funniest thing I've seen all week.

Look Guys seriously if Round 26 mattered , this is not the team that Sheens would have gone with…..we all know he is a VERY LOYAL type of bloke to his main core of players......he is just letting them off from the Tigers, in a way they have been used too.....LOSING

Congrats to Gower. Well deserved.

Hopefully Pritchard gets a run also.

Don't care about Morris at half, season is over. Have a final blinder J-Mo.
