What evidence or official report if any was there to suggest Taupau wasnt going to play.

I'm liking this starting team. Having Taupau start at lock gives us some real size. Much like the big Easts packs from last couple of years. Galloway and Woods look strong as does Sirro. Personally I'd have Santi start for Sue. Good looking pack though. Ave and Lodge are great prop rotates. Dean should come on for Taupau at lock then move to dumby half if Robbie takes a short spell.
Sue should be are impact of the bench. He can cover most positions in the forwards.

Only thing wrong with that is that Sue doesn't have much impact. He's probably the most disappointing bloke of all our forwards, and has been since the beginning of last season.
He hasn't come up to expectations for a long while.
Agree with you though about starting Santi.

Looks like I owe Sue an apology for my comment this afternoon. I thought his first half tonight was the best I've seen from him. He ran and tackled like he meant it , and seemed to be a lot better in attack. I hope there's a lot more of it.

thats the 2nd person that said that - Newtown was first last week - i reflect my own opinion not of the players - if you read it FT i said ME - not the players - IM convinced. You gotta laugh…..
