Thought we failed with our opportunity in controlling momentum when Talau lost the ball. Felt it was silly to keep going right during those 3 sets and we'd simply kept showing our hand too early.

I don’t know why we don’t just go up the guts with a rampaging uto ! Or angled runs back against the grain… just to much side to bloody side.

Gotta say I wasn't sitting there feeling like they didn't care and weren't trying like some other games - they had a go, they just simply weren't good enough, especially in defence of course.

I actually thought we played pretty well.

2 big moments

Moment 1
34min - we are up 12-10.
We have 3rd ser on their line. TT drops it off the scrum.
Manly score next set and again 2mins later. To go 12-20 at half time.
If we we have of iced that opportunity on their line we could of went in at half time 18-10 instead.

Moment 2
18mins to go 2nd half.
32-18.
Laurie works his magic. TT throws it slightly forward, nofa was in untouched.
Could of been 32-24 with 16 mins of play.

We land either of these of these moments and its a very different game.

Ps not picking on TT. But we are a young side and need to learn how to take these moments.

Yeah we didn't need to go short so early.
Although I am a fan as its actually a 50-50 play.
Just not when kicking it to 6 foot 20 Saab.

So many times we ran in circles, backwards, sideways with no structure. Execution was poor and predictable. I don’t get it when we say we are training really well but we can’t reproduce that on game day. It’s like we train at first grade level and play at reggies level.

It’s a very badly coached side no form or function .. the club needs to move or next season will be a bigger disaster.

It is blatantly obvious to all but the Madge fans, he said we had a side capable of making the 8 when he arrived. He said he would fix the defence, he has failed big time, lets stop wasting more seasons and punt him now

Disagree - Alphabet's fault there - should have kept sliding instead of peeling off and running back. He was the one that opened the gap in the line.
