Wests Tigers vs Canberra *live game thread discussion*

We proved that we need 2 or 3 players with x factor to win a game against one of the top sides. We can hold them with the players we have but the difference is the players with speed, evasiveness and creativity. Let's see if Maguire can bring junior players to the club for next year who have x factor.

@Geo I’m not even miserable... a little miffed and feeling out of control about many of the things that we struggle with from game to game. Genuinely think it’s so hard to change without a big roster turnover... Cleary had a very different style of winning games and I think Madge is showing us the way of a champion team. He can create that and has before, whereas not many other coaches can say likewise

Only thing keeping me interested atm
Win against Newy next week, Geo?

Crucial mistakes by the Tigers cost us.
Eiso sloth moving in defence not willing to get in front of Lui. Mbye going into the line with no fullback for CNK try. Momirovski running in to get no one. That’s 3 tries gifted. We also made plenty of errors through Mbye, Benji, Momirovski.
There are players not up to first grade in this team. Letting the team down badly.

Glad I am not the only one that thinks he has the speed of a sloth.

Saw it live on the NRL app.

Was extremely disappointed with the performance, took no positives what so ever out of that game. Was talking about how this these losses are a recurring theme in the Club and it needs to change. Every single player out there needs to have a tough look at themselves, they need to be hardened, way too soft. The club needs to change and that falls back on the players and himself. Also mentioned the youth coming through and opportunities so a couple might be coming through over the next couple of games.

@Madge That was an honest assessment. He can't do much because to send younger players in when they are not ready will impact their careers. Answer is increase and improve coaching, recruit the very best junior talent and get the COE built quickly.

Thank God he sees the recurring theme of softness throughout the club.

@tony-soprano tell them I said hopefully Cleary and Cleary can deliver a premiership to them within 3 years, because otherwise I can tell you that is a MASSIVE failure
